    Good video! I have a weird question: I'm looking for a patch that I saw in one of your videos on the sleeve of a soldier's uniform (I think it was your channel, could be wrong tho). The path depicted a "video camera rifle". Basically a video camera with a pistol grip, stock etc. Do you by any chance know where I can find the patch or do you recall the image / video where it was used? (I don't mean the regular combat photographer patch).

      @charlesdjones1 3 года назад +2

      @@Deimos_the_Autist I can only answer the AIT question, I know nothing about Combat Camera as that is a different MOS, and I also know nothing about SMAPP, as I'm already an NCO from a different MOS. The AIT is chill, it's not hard as long as you pay attention, it's done at a pace where everyone graduates, but there are some that don't make it, so you can fail but really there are harder schools to finish in the military than 46S. You will have a good time here and have lots of laughs also. Best of luck.

I'm currently CBRN and have never been in a CBRN unit and my fear is PCS'ing to my next duty station and ending up in a CBRN unit where I'm going to be expected to know the stuff I haven't done since AIT.

    Hey brother. I’m struggling to understand the major difference between 25v and 46s. It sounds like they do the same thing from what I’ve seen of some of your work and this video. What is the key difference? Taking ASVAB next week looking to pick my MOS soon. Thanks

    • @maxbass9812
      @maxbass9812 3 года назад +8

      46s writes articles and shoots photos and videos for an external audiences. A 25V primarily documents footage for internal audiences and there’s no writing involved.

    • @ronaldb4885

      There are overlaps between the two but the 25-series and 46-series designations really highlight the differences. 25-series think Signal Corps (photo and video documentation of Combat and other Operations). 46-series think Public Affairs/Journalism (with photography and videography). Aside from choosing based on your own personal desires, another thing to consider when making your decision is what you might like to do after your career in the military. Which one of those skill-sets will set you up best for a career in the civilian sector.
