Great to see you back on the allotments. As a beginner, your old videos were great at motivating me. Hope more allotment videos will be appearing on your channel going forward 👍

It’s amazing how much you can do in such a short time. The soil looked good to me.

I was under threat impression that rotivating chops up all the weeds and makes things worse. So you still have to dig all the weeds out first. Is it really this easy ?

Obviously weed before hand if you’ve no intentions to cover. Always use common sense when you find it.

Why use obsolete measurements? Who understands what a 'pole' is? Metres are understood just fine.

A ‘pole’ is also understood just fine. Read up on your history.

@@diggingfordinner I don't live in the past sorry. Just got an allotment plot. It is 4.3 metres wide x 25 metres long making it 107.5 square metres. Easily understood by persons the world over. Your videos have been most informative in helping me plan and prepare my plot for my first planting. Thank you.

@@nineteenninetyfive You do realise that I live in the UK and that I have an allotment right? Vainly attempting to clinging to some Old British Empire obsolete unit that nobody uses is one thing, trying to 'educate' me on how it is done in britain as if I know not what I speak of is just utterly embarrassing . . .
