The korn song really stacks up and emphasizes that minor 9th with the perfect fifth while in the SS song the perfect fifth is more or less implied because the guitar tone creates a tone of feedback and overtones. Though it still works as a straight octave with the right guitar tone and right hand technique. Because Rick, Chris, and Mark all use their guitars more as percussive instruments
