Yo Chris you def should coat them. Get some shoe waterproofed and spray all over. Reapply every few months of wear.
Spray them with a sealant so the paint doesn’t chip!!

Acrylic paint will def peel off those leathery type shoes, i would get a spray coat of something or repaint with leather paint
I do these professionally & while leather paint is recommended as long as he seals them they won’t peel off!

@@breehubick331 You can pretty much just use any type of fabric paint sealant that you can spray on the shoes after you're don't painting.

I use angelus directs acrylic leather paint. They have tons of different colors, additives & finishes. I use them on shoes canvas tote bags and denim.

To make the paint fabric "ready" you need to mix it with "fabric glue" it's usually clear/cloudy and comes in the same containers as the paint, and found in the paint section. ♡

From one tiktok artist to another, its always good spray to spray waterproofer on painted shoes. Especially if they're acrylic! Those look so bomb keep living your best life.

You can use acrylic paint to customize shoes but if you want them to last you will have to use a finisher. You can get a finisher from angelus or you can buy a finishing spray from a craft store. It's also recommended to use acetone to get the factory finisher off the shoe before painting.

Yes Chris, while I do not know much about acrylic paint, I do know that if you dye or color a show you should definitely get a waterproof, seal in either paint or spray, trust me it won't last without a few clear coats of seal🙏✌️👍

Use Angelus Acrylic Finisher to seal those colors in!! Its available in matte, satin, normal and high gloss! I loooove those Chris :)
The lighting is reflecting off the white shoes so you can't really see the paint but it looks cool makes me want to paint some white shoes. Just ordered paint markers to I'm excited

Chris if you ever do shoe or decide you want to paint other kinds of clothing. I recommend fabric paint, it takes much longer to dry. But fabric paint is flexible and can handle being worn every day better than acrylic paint. And now I would love to see a video of u painting a jacket or a pair of pants or something, I think it would be cool.
