    I’m always knitting the body of my knits too short too! I think it’s because I get bored and want to get to the underarms so I can finish it quicker lol. It’s nice to see your knitting progression from your very first vintage knit ❤

      @@knittingwithbetty in some ways I have improved with time and in other ways I have got worse! I think the thing I have to remember is to slow down and test to make sure each one fits throughout the process, not to just 'wing it'. I don't have a foam sleeve template yet but I shall also make one of those.

      @@knittingwithbetty I also think boredom causes a lot of too-short knits like you say, but I think that still comes down to using a tape measure without considering horizontal stretch. In my mind it's like I say "I'm bored and it's 10 inches, that's good enough!" but I haven't also added "how many inches does it actually need to be to fit when it's on my body and stretched in some places? I plan to think it through better in the future 😊
