You have a beautiful jungle, it must bring you a lot of pleasure. Great to see how your northern location can still accommodate these plants. I notIce you dont have raised beds, which I thought would help with frozen ground. I'm in Western Ireland, poor sunshine levels this year too.

Thank you for watching :-) We don´t have raised beds but when we made this garden we removed all the soil down to 1 m´s depth and replaced it with some good composted soil mixed with a lot of sand. The soil around here is very chalky and is like concrete. Not much grow well in it so we had to do something and I think this works like raised beds.

Looking really good, as you say cold wet winters a the big problems. Lots of plants were late to get going this year. Cold and wet rotted a lot for me

Same here, everything has been really slow to get going. I have some Cannas that are only 50 cm tall and normally they are almost 2 m tall. And those Cannas were indoors for winter as always so it must be rain and lack of warmth. The last few weeks here in Denmark have been quite warm though so perhaps they are damaged because of the rough start.

Faced with climatic hazards, it is becoming more and more difficult to maintain such a garden! Here in Brussels, we have too much rain but not enough heat! We endure but keep our spirits up!

Same in Denmark. A lot of rain and this year not much heat. And the combination of lots of rain and low temperatures in winter is a real killer. It sure is getting difficult! Thank you for watching :-)
