So that other people don't get confused, what actually happens to the bacterial cells when they enter the cortex. Because ma'am here has wrongly taught that bacterial cells are of types. There's only one type of bacterial cell on entering the cortex and going through modification. When they enter, they get modified into specialized cells called bacteroids. How? Here's how: These bacterial cells first get surrounded by a plant-derived membrane called Symbiosome. Nodule formation takes place which finally leads to the formation of these bacteroids. So, then we all know that inside these nodules, nitrogen fixation takes place and as ma'am says here, that these specialized cells(she is actually referring to bacteroids only) have thick walls for creating an anaerobic condition(so that the enzyme Nitrogenase can work). So, Bacterial cells simply get modified in to bacteroids and nothing else. So don't get confused. Whatever properties ma'am here talks about are mostly (on dividing them into two bacterial cells, wrongly so) about bacteroids.

Madam.. Rhizobium transform into only bacteroid, which is y shaped cell that fixes nitrogen... There are no other forms of nitrogen fixing forms of rhizobia... Plz refer once again
Right. There's only one type of cell after modification. And that are bacteroids. They are the very same specialized cells she is talking about in both the types.
Mam, I have no words to explain you..... you are one my inspiration. May God bless you.. I pray for u from the core of my heart,honestly... As today it was my exam.. I rocked only because of you.. Wallah mam you are great...

Yes because cortical cells are stimulated to divide and form nodules because of cytokinin(which promote cell division) secreted by bacteria and auxins secreted by plants Hope that's helpful :)

Thanks ma'am for this amazing video!
Leg hemoglobin occurs in cytosol of nodule cell,,,globin part synthesised by plant genome,,, heme portion synthesised by bacterial genome,,,,,,,
your videos are very helpful
Mam,
Please upload a video on anatomy of plants
Mam please make a video on nif and nod gene
Thanks mam u are great as like as alakh sir...
why root hairs get curled?
Because rhizobium bacteria secretes a chemical known as nod factor
👀

Yes mam
Mam.. Thanku for this video.
Very much helpful to me
Mam rhodospirillum is anaerobic photoheterotropic and azatobacter is aerobic hetero and bacillus anaerobic chemoheterotope
is there any interaction between Rhizobium and roots of the host plant
Yes. There is

Mam, in class I was told that nodule formation is initiated by cytokinin and auxin...I am confused..
Yes because cortical cells are stimulated to divide and form nodules because of cytokinin(which promote cell division) secreted by bacteria and auxins secreted by plants
Hope that's helpful :)
Mam why root hairs get curlled🤔🤔
Because infection thread enters the root hair
thanks a lot maam
