I like to listen to this really loud in my car (great speakers). It's a pretty complicated arrangement, and when you aren't distracted by the things going on in the video, you hear more of the genius of this piece. Avi's stuff in particular is really brilliant.
For me he is a genius. Like he is not normal.

I am so happy they won a grammy for this arrangement! They All slayed it, but Mitch's high note (G#5) was Flawless and so was Avi's low note (C#2) ! Dafuq! They slay so much!

It's famous for reactors earning a copywrite strike from RUclips because of the label protesting. I think I liked it better, in a few aspects, before RCA picked them up.
It was their 2nd Grammy. I heard a category was created just to give them an award for this.. It was so amazing. They won "best arrangement of a classical Piece by an a capella group" or something like that. They sang it live on their Holiday Special on NBC last year, and since it's from "The Nutcracker Suite" they had ballerinas dancing, then "nutcrackers" dancing hip-hop and it was freaking cool.

I had 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Of course, they had their idiosyncrasies, but there were NEVER any physical disagreements. Unless you call boy running behind girl, trips, falls, and on the way down trips the girl so she bangs her nose on the floor, a physical "disagreement". Yeah, she got nose bleeds in her sleep, too. Everybody had their own bedroom. That was pretty important. One of them was a bit of a hoarder. He kept everything neat, but he would "claim" all of the crayons, colored pencils, marbles, matchbox cars, and such. He wasn't messy about it. No. He put all the crayons together, colored pencils together, cars together because you see, that way you can't tell what was his or theirs. Pretty ingenious if you ask me. At least 15 years later, and I've got all the crayons, colored pencils, and matchbox cars. Now, the grandchildren get to use them.
Fighting like that never happened. Nobody ever wanted to fight like that. I guess we were more about outsmarting each other instead.
