Guys, the most comprehensive and strongest EQ of PA is actually TOMO Audiolabs - LISA. It can be Right/Left/Mid/Side static EQ, dynamic EQ, Multiband Compressor and De-esser. Would be interesting to know your point about it 🙂
This is absolutely not just a mastering EQ. I definitely like what it does e.g. to my (stereo) acoustic guitars when using M/S EQ. It really breathes life into them. Give it a go on individual tracks/busses as well! It’s pure gold. 😃 And of course it’s oozing sweetness on your mix bus too. Maybe the magic really lies in those untweakable preset frequencies. At least I make (or am compelled to make) different decisions than what I would make when using free-wheeling parametric EQs. For some reason I love this plugin even more than many of my other mastering grade EQs (Manley Massive, Kiive M5133, AMEK 250 etc.) My new favourite! Thanks for the vid again! Cheers - kippis!
what about reviewing a really old plugin instead of always reviewing the new sh** ? for example the sonnox oxford reverb which is over 15 years old and still gets used by many professionals. anyhow. always enjoy watching you guys. your channel is spot on
Solid EQ, at first I wasnt sure if this was just a quick cashgrab & recycled code but its really got a nice sound. For 20 bucks it was a no brainer. After using it for the past few weeks it definitely adds some of that maag magic to the song. Still getting the hang of the switches though
@@DaveChips Well. With no shelves to use...combined with the hpf you could tame the extreme low end or even give it a boost for cinematic work... Bells sometimes cause less phase shift than shelves too...so worth experimenting with..👍
@StudioLife101 Makes complete sense, the cinematic reference and considering the style of this EQ. I was coming from "Casual" eq headspace and club music, where I would probably do some resonant highpass before I send it to outboard rack. I honestly sometimes forget that there are other things in audio industry as well, just because I'm here in my bubble of clients and music :/
Dan showing his love for Sean by fixing his hair 🤣I look forward to your videos and they always put a smile on my face. Thank you.
@@patrickw2585 Cheers 👍🍻
MAAGnificent guys!

I've asked Dan and Sean to review the TOMO LISA at least 2 or 3 times. I use it on everything in M/S. It's unique and amazing. 🙂

@@Illkacirma We do now and then....Sonnox Stuff is a good shout. 👍
Love this eq!! Great vid guys 🤘
Was waiting for this. Been using it for a few weeks now. Love the sound!
This was an instant buy tbh, I love the Maag EQ's and their magnum plugin. Would love a dark theme for all their plugins tbh.
Good tip on the Hawkeye 😉👍
20 quid. I was avoiding it but it does some cool stuff bringing things forward. Great EQ.
The Air band circuit makes sense in analog where adding hiss when boosting highs is a real issue.

My eyes! I have to get a 24" or 32" monitor because my laptop screen won't allow me to expand beyond 100%. Other than that it's a solid bit.
Quick poll for the viewers... but im seriously curious... when was the last time anyone used bell at 12 or 18hz on a master?

@ Sounds like a good bubble though.👍
@@StudioLife101 Sounds so good that I can't tell is it tinnitus or something I need to notch out from the track... Jk, jk 😅
The heck with it, got it with the
update for 24,19 incl taxes. 😅

Congrats! PA has embraced really great devs in their alliance 👍🏻
Sounds pretty good, I must say 🤩
I paid $20 Yaz!
Congratulations! 🙂
The unreadable EQ. Are PA selling 55" monitors as a side hustle?
