Why does TNT even need to be the right holder for inside the NBA to continue? Surely it would be cheaper for them to continue having a nightly show where these guys react to basketball without having to pay the NBA + go through all the trouble to actually broadcast the games.
Barkley wanted to only stay with TNT because of all the people it employed. They've become friends over all these years and he didn't want them to lose their livelihood.
If Inside the NBA goes away, I stop watching the NBA, PERIOD! Let's see if the NBA cares more about its fans than the NFL does, switching everything to streaming and pushing ALL of the their older fans away!

Rich has his show distributed by Roku. He doesn't run it solo through RUclips. So Rich couldn't do it alone. That being said, have a Roku run Inside the NBA? That could work. Might be really expensive to get all those guys on contact without the NBA games alongside of it though

It's a super unfortunate situation I think. There's something of an impasse here, between Ernie being a loyal TNT guy -- something I absolutely support, he's been great and an absolute gem for the network -- and the network losing the bid officially. Part of me is like time for change, all things do. But this is NOT the way this show should come to an end, just being bought out. It's pathetic. It's also capitalism?
