  • One detail in the epic story of Prophet Moussa gives timeless lessons to women on how they must conduct themselves in public. Allah describes that despite her shyness, the young woman in Madian, recognizing the impact of her presence as a female, engages with Moussa with an amazing balance of confidence and modesty.

      @@posteriorfourchette5050 No. You're just spreading fitna because of your own filthy character. Only people who have an evil character speak in this way like you. Can you show me just one scholar that spoke in such a way about Nouman Ali Khan even though, they heard about those 'scandals" just like you? You little kid with your fake profile now want to come and speak about him like that? Shame on you.

    I love the way respected teacher has explained the lesson of modesty without making women feel small. I always felt a little ( very very tiny ) hurt whenever somebody explained hijab or modesty , coz it always felt like I should be hidden away and I should not be part of open society. Jazakallah Khair for this video , May Allah SWT bless you.

      True. Scholars in our country just want us to follow what they say, they don't explain us like him, they just shout which makes us more away from following, also NAK never targets us, he just explains in a beautiful way, that's why his words impact us and make us follow our deen more and become a better person...

    Interesting lecture! Cultures across the globe have encouraged women to become men's visual pleasure (especially for the sake of capitalism though) and many women fall prey to it. Islam regards women as equals of men and encourages them to place their true value forward (humanity, intellect, etc) instead of the aspect of them that makes them taken less seriously/only as visual stimulus (looks/appearance) (not that guys have the right to treat women less bc of their appearance).
    However--our ummah is already very critical of women's behavior and dress and needs to balance it out with their reprimand of men who think they're entitled to viewing women's bodies just bc they present their bodies or beautify them. It's their job to lower their gaze. It's their (men's) problem and struggle. It's disgusting when guys try to make it out like women are to blame. Take that up with God if you dare, bc He SWT is the one that made us a test for you, as you're a test for us. How a woman dresses is between her and God, just as how you act about is between you and God on the Day of Judgement. Each is accountable for their end of the bargain. So focus on yourself instead of trying to change or censor ppl--that will never ever work especially due to how "loose" global society has become in regards to these aspects of dress and conduct.

    • @maryammirza7119
      @maryammirza7119 5 лет назад +8

      @marmfruit , Agreed, though it goes vice versa too. Women need to learn that every wrong they do, cannot and should not be pinned down to men's behavior. It is women's job too to follow the boundaries set by Allah swt for us as it is men's obligation. .

      I'm the opposite haha, I can't be outspoken (except with my very close circle). It's so interesting how we all have different personality :D! You can still be outspoken while being modest ! You just have to be aware of your surroundings, if there are men then do not to be talkative/goofy/etc insha Allah :). Though I'm not outspoken, I'm very bubbly, but when I'm at uni or in any mixed gatherings I become the most serious person you can imagine, just to scare the wolves muahaha ! Salam my dear sister

    The word (Ala) in Arabic Literally means (Above) or (On), so when Allah SWT Says (Walks on modesty) it's as if that modesty elevates her, while in another verse in the Holy Quran when Allah SWT talks about "Firaon" he said (Inna firaon'a Ala fi alardi) which means he can go as much as he wants but he will never pass the Earth.
