I recognise that. It’s an internal pipe wrench. I had to order one from USA (through Amazon) as I couldn’t find them in U.K. I ordered it to be able to replace a leaking wall elbow in my son’s shower as it’s cheaper than paying a plumber to do the work.

you shouldn’t be using channel locks on a polish finish.. i would recommend knipex wrench pliers. that way the teeth aren’t making marks on the the finish

That’s why they call it extractor not a installer, next time put the elbow on and tighten them both together
