In this tutorial we go through the process of creating an outdoor visualization for a house project from start to finish. We take advantage of the Chaos Cosmos asset library and the powerful capabilities of RailClone and Forest Pack to add grass and trees.
Once we’ve rendered the final scene, we use the Light Mix render element to generate different scenarios in the post-processing stage.

Nice tutorial, and nice software :)
Great tutorial.. Hope you can provide base scene to follow up
Thank you Chaos
Good video
And the same for c4d?
Could you please delve into the topic of animation for future tutorials? Settings for flicker-free results, what to pay attention to etc.?
Not necessarily architectural, but revolving around character animation, interaction between objects/Phoenix sims?
Love this tutorial, can you provide the project files to follow along it would be of great help!
thank you very much
Hi Chaos
Can we have the same kind of tutorial using Cinema 4 and Vray Or Corona please .
thanks to you
do you use brute force or irradiance in render with lightmix?
Thanks
wow, awsome.
Glad you think so!
Where's the tutorial on how to do the terrain and the pond? is there any for that? thanks!
a great lesson about appearance, you may have more of these, it's a pity that there's nothing they wouldn't show in the lighting setup.
Hi is that all included in the vray ?? i gonna finally buy it stopping use of crack LOL . . sorry
vray material node: why isnt the reflection and reflection glossy inputs not next to each other? why? it should have the same layout as the attributes? this has bugged me for years
chaos group doesn't have an alternative to forest pack yet?
cant we render this using vray gpu progressive rendering...
My foreground grass is not being fully distributed across the surface area? I have added the detail grass and adjusted the density x/y units but I am only gettting pinpoints of grass and not a full lawn? why? In the video it seems to fill your surface automatically and you show no settings.
Where can I have those models?
great tutorial, can you guys do the same for sketchup?
without aerial perspective how can you achieve a gloomily and fog environment also I see hard, sharp shadows, I think there have some missing parts you don't share.. maybe
The DISPLAY CORRECTION under the Layer panel in my Vray Frame Buffer is not showing, Someone Please help me fix this. Thank you.
Best Laptops for 3DS Max ?
40 max divs and brute force, yeah bye. how long does this take? one day?
Vray should have a native scatter tool por people who cant pay for forestpack also, forestpack is very expensive
V-Ray for SketchUp has a native scatter tool. It also has V-Ray Vision, which is a real-time raster rendering that we miss in 3ds max :/
a lot of engines have their own, not sure why vray doesn’t. my forster also crashes if i use a vray proxy
@@rezvansheho6430 but we have Vray Advantage, which is like vision, but for 3dmax.
@@RNDR3D well, not all of us have a fancy RTX graphics card that vantage needed. I didn't upgrade my Nvidia 1060 since the GPU prices crisis :(
Благодаря
man, max is super ugly and clunky. i’ve been using it for the last few years and it really feels like it’s on its last legs
I couldn't agree more. I've been using Max since version 5 in the mid 2000s and it's just as ugly and clunky today as it was then (if not more). You have to wonder what does Autodesk corporation do with their billions of dollars of revenue. I suggest their CEOs buy less super-yachts and invest more in their software. It's pathetic.
@@bgtubber yeah ever since autodesk acquired maya there has been no incentive to develop it. moreover there is little incentive to develop at all if you can just acquire the next best thing, milk its user base or kill the old. What's scary is how much bigger autodesk is than its competitors. I'm honestly not sure what's keeping autodesk from buying SideFX for example.
