- Toothy critters crashed the party during a commercial trip for Amberjacks. I've always wanted to hook a wahoo on light tackle, and on this day I had more than one opportunity. In addition to the wahoo bites we caught plenty of big jacks before going bottom fishing, but the bottom fishing will be in another upload.

Another fun vid. Looks like you’ve got some good guys to fish with, sure makes for a pleasant day!
I really enjoy your fishing trips. Wish I was with you. 70 yo fisherman.
I’m going to experience a 10th of what that feeling is like with some absolute monster river fish soon. Drag ripping fish is wild.
Nice donkey hunt !!!
You need to take a big ass 130 out there and see if the aj's can still pull drag when it's locked 😂
I actually think a strong one could.
Enjoyed this one Nolan. Know y’all were on a AJ mission but hard not to see you switch over for wahoo with likely a few around. That boat has impressive fish box capacity! What hull is that?
Sweet bite, tough break with the pelagics… need to bring some stinger rigs…
Went to school with Patrick. If it swims or flies and the Dufour boys get after it, it's in for a bad day.
Good system you boys seem to know what youre doing...
How deep were you fishing.
What do they do with the AJs when y’all sellem
Usually they go from here to Canada. I think they smoke them up there but I'm not sure.
Where are you out of?
I fish out of Oregon Inlet, Hatteras, Morehead City, and Wrightsville Beach.
I don’t understand why people still beat themselves up with right handed conventional fishing reels when they make so many left handed options nowadays. Avet and Alutecnos just to name a couple make very good left handed reels. I went on a party boat for tuna and watched everyone get their asses kicked while I was being my fish in very easily. I was bring in 60-80 pound yellowfin in 5-6 minutes while everyone was getting whoppped for 15-20m fights. Guarantee if you were using your dominant arm on the rod you wouldn’t be nearly as tired either.
What size is that penn slammer spinning reel?
3500. Mostly brought it along for sabiki fishing but it's definitely enough for a small wahoo, 15lb braid so plenty of line. Caught a couple Oregon Inlet yellowfins on it by accident when we thought we were throwing at blackfins
@@nolanminor6761 Looks like a reel for catfishing in a lake.Suprised the jacks and hoos didnt destroy it.
