1941 में वो मॉस्को जीत लेते पर उनको बीच में रोक के दक्षिण भेज दिया गया, फिर उसके सैनिकों की छँटनी हुई फिर बाक़ी दोनों साइड वाले पीछे हो गए और यही सबसे पहले ख़त्म हो गया।
