    Snoop is a jealous hater, but does his best to mask it in this “I got love for everybody, everyone is my homeboys” act. Just look at how he tries to down 2Pac with his superiority complex with example from Snoop:
    - Snoop was the one that told Suge to get 2Pac out of prison
    - Snoop allowed the “little” homie to shine on Death Row by stepping aside, so his success is because the “big” homie allowed it
    - “I had people outside my room that wanted Suges head, and I called them off” ~ Snoop claiming he could have had Suge dealt with when they squashed their beef
    There are other examples but he’s always hating under the radar

    Snoop and Tupac were label mates, and maybe Tupac felt they were friends but keep in mind, before Pac joined Death Row, Snoop was the biggest artist they had. When Pac joined the Row, he became their premier star and maybe that didn't sit too well with Snoop. I always thought Snoop was closer to Dre than Pac anyway.

  • @jayvontayswing57
    @jayvontayswing57 2 года назад +243

    I believe there’s a combination of things to why Snoop says negative stuff about Pac.
    #1. Obviously Snoop was the biggest star/rapper of death row records before Pac arrival. In fact if you really think about it doing that time Pac was the face of hip-hop within a industry perspective due to political,musical, and personal relationships controversy which resulted to people either hating or loving Pac, but 1 thing for certain people invested their time into Pac.
    Suge understood very well what PAC’s value which resulted him treating Snoop like his artist and Pac like his closest homie, so I definitely believe there’s a jealousy from Snoop side.
    #2.I believe Doing the time of the west coast vs east coast beef particularly after the shooting to Dogg Pound - New York, New York video from the curtesy of Biggie put a level of fear in Snoop to the point that he later insinuated that Biggie was his friend lol Snoop only say negative things about Pac cause he doesn’t wanna lose his industry green card!!!😎

    As a man I would never discredit any man growth. That said. I respect Snoop’s dialogue especially his work for the youth. However I would even have a greater respect for him if he actually kept it real about the events that took place doing his early career.
    For example: There’s no way that New York and Death Row could’ve had mutual respect and love for 1 another the way Snoop paints it today cause clearly New York let it known when Snoop aggressively told them to👍
    That was Snoop opportunity then and there to express his love and respect for New York but his energy came across as “Fuck y’all to” and in Snoop own words “ WE KNOW WHERE WE AT” lol
    a couple months later from the source award Dogg Pound decided to go back to New York a place where they felt the hostility ? 🤔
    Biggie himself called in on the radio to influence the incident that took place @ Dogg Pound music video how could’ve Snoop still possible think Biggie was his friend? Lol “Allegedly” there were a meeting between Snoop and Biggie after the Dogg Pound shooting. Could I be mad @ Snoop for making any peace with Biggie or any hostility he received from New York? No I can’t!
    However Snoop gotta tell the truth and stop trying to paint the narrative like he never dissed Biggie and it was all on Pac smh keep in mind this is the same rapper who decided to diss EAZY-E involving himself in Dre beef understanding both men having a personal history with each other as far use to being friends therefore they fall out had nothing to do with Snoop so we supposed to believe Snoop didn’t diss biggie etc.? The position Snoop takes today has created a narrative like he was caught in the middle of Pac beefs all though somewhat true but don’t tell me Snoop didn’t play a role in it just like he did for Dre the only difference is Snoop realized he would be taking on a entire state which resulted him playing both sides out of fear not out of friendships like he tells it smh lol it’s too obvious now that he says all the right shit today cause he comes across as the initial peacemaker/peacekeeper.

      Big allegedly called the radio station. There's no proof of that. And it could be that Snoop was tired of getting caught in between beefs. He was beefing with 3 rappers because of Dre and probably didn't wanna go that route again with 2pac. Seemed like 2pac was dragging him into the beef though.

      @@henny6566 I respect your evaluation about the whole situation but I disagree with you though. Think about what just you said ? Let’s say you’re right bout everything, why would Snoop create a rumor about Biggie radio call, wouldn’t that really create real beef making such serious allegations ?? Think about it ? Why would snoop himself say biggie called the radio station then months later claimed biggie was his friend???🤔
      last point, notice how Nobody ever denied that radio call ??? Cause it’s true. “Gene Deal” was biggie bodyguard/friend he acknowledged biggie radio call multiple times.

    • @henny6566
      @henny6566 2 года назад

      @@jayvontayswing57 Actually many people have denied it. Even employees at Hot 97 have denied it. Flex said it never happened. Angie Martinez interviewed Snoop recently where he made the claim again about Big calling the radio station and she cut him off twice and said allegedly and he went on to keep saying he heard him call the radio station. How is it that 2 of the biggest employees at the radio station have said it didn't happen. And where is the audio of this? The 90's wasn't that long ago. People used to record stuff off the radio all the time. I've found so many radio interviews from viewers who upload interviews they recorded from home. You mean to tell me the hottest rapper at the time called the biggest Hip Hop station on the planet and not 1 single person has audio of it? Not 1 soul on the planet has a copy of it. Not Hot 97, , no DJ, not any former disgruntled employee and not a single listener out of the millions of listeners they have. Lil Cease also said the call never happened when being interviewed by this same person.

    • @jayvontayswing57
      @jayvontayswing57 2 года назад +4

      @@henny6566 You make a fair point about other listeners not having audio. Same time though you know very very well just as good as I do that the power that be have the type of power to make sure stuff disappear.
      Let’s keep it real right now, most rappers had to go through New York cause most music labels, and biggest radio stations etc. were all established in New York to the point all rappers had be to validated and respected by New York to be official. Hip-hop was so biased to the favoritism of Biggie doing that time that they basically made bad boy seem like choir Boys.
      I definitely remember Angie Martinez and snoop interview you’re referring to👍but Angie was a puppy @ the company doing that time when that radio call happened and name me a industry personal who’s the most “biggest and biased” fan of Biggie then Flex ???🤔 I wouldn’t say lil cease is a liar but he’s been proved wrong or least multiple sources told different stories then him,
      multiple people “west coast and east coast” confirmed biggie radio call did happen.
      I’m not saying everything “Gene Deal” said is true but he wasn’t just a friend/ rapper that was around Biggie, he was the muscle and protection of puffy and biggie, so it would be crazy to not think he wasn’t around Biggie most of the times with and without jr. Mafia especially lil cease presence. That said.
      Again there’s a interview on “the Art of Dialogue” with “Gene Deal” when he’s asked about biggies radio call and he confirmed that it happened, the interviewer then asked him why isn’t there any audio of it and “Gene”exact words in response was “you mean why haven’t they ever replayed it, Cause everybody heard it live when it happened” then emphasized the power and connection Puffy has in “New York”.
      Now I totally understand where you’re coming from cause you seem like the type of person who needs proof before you just believe anything and I respect you for that✊🏿
      Let’s look @ it from a logical and pattern standpoint. Jadakiss, Mary J., lil Kim, Gene deal etc. all had confirmed Biggie wrote some fire for Pac but guess who intervened and made sure that it didn’t get released??? Puffy. Is Biggie not 1 of the greatest MC’s of all - time ? Do you truly believe with rap package he possessed especially coming from battle rap culture/New York that he didn’t have any diss records for Pac ??? See that’s the narrative Puffy wanted to created forever his reasons were.
      Use your imagination with the talent biggie had and what he was capable of doing from a rap battle perspective???🤔that said. Keep in mind Biggie released “long kiss goodnight” where he clearly dissed Pac after pac died and who do you hear @ the end of the song talking?? Puffy.
      My overall point is to proved the power and connections Puffy had along with the narrative he created gives me every belief that Puffy had biggies radio call buried somewhere just like I’m sure he got Biggies other diss records buried, people are foolish if they don’t think Biggie had a “hit ‘em up” response etc.
      it’s just Puffy controlled biggie Musically. All of biggies radio hit songs juicy,hypnotize, big papa etc. Biggie hated them lol puffy pushed him to do it therefore puffy controlled narrative which the narrative controlled bad boy image to how puffy wanted the industry and the world to perceive bad boy, which was flashy shiny suit rappers who love’s to party smh lol not understanding the actual his best rap personnel on bad boy label were a roster full of hard spitters that was street savvy which was the complete opposite from the image Puffy wanted, that is the key purpose to why Puffy would have biggie radio call disappeared to protect bad boy image!😎

Only until he heard the interview Snoop did Angie that’s when he felt so hurt and betrayed, especially if that was the first time knowing it like that and being revealed publicly on radio.
