Turned out they were creationist morons that believed the earth was only two thousand years old and wanted to tear down separation of church and state. Some beliefs are destructive in sime situations which is somehing hardcore has ALWAYS been aware of hence it's opposition to fascist hardcore. I was in the Bay Area scene and I must admit we did try some stupid dance moves, but I've never seen shit quite like this. It would fucking piss me off.
