And BTW, thanks for the shout out as well in the description, glad I would be of help with the source footage :) I especially liked your little remake of the before-boss melody at 20:35. If you're ever doing more of these, I would love to see Level 5, my personal favorite

And yours was the chosen one haha. Thank you for doing such a great playthrough! Thank you so much, I love how ominous it sounds in-game. Like your impending doom marching toward you. Also who knows, maybe I might do it one day in the far future. This was a giant hassle to do, and stressful at times. I want to take a break before I start any more Thumper projects.
@@Captainjul yeah I can imagine this taking a lot of time... The project is huge and has a lot of detail. Take your time and of course you choose yourself if/when you want to do it. :)
I acquired them by isolating the sounds in-game with a glitch and recording them with a program. It was so hard getting all the sounds, so very hard. I would give them away to you, but I'm not sure how the creators of the game would feel, having their raw audio assets given away.
@@Captainjul Is there a way to replicate this glitch to acquire the in-game sounds as I have been looking for sound effects to sample in my Music Tech coursework and thought that about how the sound effects from Thumper would be perfect for it. Of course I would credit the team behind Thumper but this won't be published publicly for my own personal gain, only privately sent to an examination board.
They said in a prior comment that they isolated the sounds in-game using a glitch which took a long time to pull off. I think they said they will probably not give it a way as they have not gotten permission from the creators.
How did you get these sounds? Did you record them in game or did you rip them? I plan to make my own Thumper beat remake like this, and I'd like to find out how you got these sounds! Could you message me back about this? If you recorded them, how? Is it a glitch? I hope to hear back from you!

Levels 1 2 6 and 8 are my personal favorites.
