I love the wall selves. It’s functional and decorative! Really cute. Also the little wall cups for the pencils and crayons. Great way to save space. The bunk beds and bedding are adorable.

I love how nice the kids room looks, I think thats every kids dream to get a room makeover, about three months back, I did the same with my daughters room, she was showing it off with her friends, I just wish she can actually stay there sleeping for the rest of the night lol. Its nice and I love the bedding set :)
Awww that’s so sweet, and yes that would be better if she actually sleeps in her room.
My kids used to sleep with me until we got them bunk beds then they started to sleep on their room now.

Beautiful makeover! Just FYI you really should clean the bedding after taking it out of the package, specially for kids. They put chemicals to avoid mold and smells while they are stored (which is good) but they need to be cleaned before use. they can be harmful to breath and for sensible skins .

Are the mattresses supposed to be that thin on the bunk beds. I would have washed all the bedding first before I let the kids sleep on it. The room turned out great though.

Yes, Ikea actually suggests using a mattress that is 5inch or shorter for this kind of bunkbed, if you use a much thicker mattress say an 8inch one, then that’d be too wide/tall for this type of bunk bed, and would not provide any protection from kids falling off. The one we have is 4inch mattress and it has been comfortable, and I’ve slept on them a few times already with no problem. As for the beddings, I just put them on for this video, I did take it out and washed it before I had my kids sleep there. 😊😊

The bunk bed is from Ikea, so is the mattress. The bunk bed is called Kura Bed.

Do you still have the bunk bed what is your opinion about bunk beds my wife is thinking of getting them on page the kids are 4 and 5 do you recommend bunk beds what do you have on their mattresses to protect them from accidents
We have the Kura Bed from Ikea. This is technically a single bed, but is commonly used as bunk beds by a lot of people. It’s versatile and reversible. We have a 5 yo and a 3 yo, so this is just perfect size for them. It’s lower than the common bunk beds which is perfect for their age, and parents can easily reach them. We use the 4inch mattress from Ikea for these. And I use a waterproof sheet under the beddings to protect the mattress.
Love the art section in the room, unfortunately, my boys don’t know how to put back everything, or keep from drawing on the walls and staying up late drawing. Not only that, I’ve had to replace bedsheets because they’d leave them open on it which bled and ruined them. Mind you, they’re 12 and 8. 🥴 I so wish it’d work for mine but nope. 😮💨

The bed is from Ikea. It’s the Kura Bed.
And for the bookshelf that’s on the top bed, the books have actually stayed there since I put them up. I have never had any problems of them falling off the shelf. Also, I don’t put heavy book on there for that reason. So everything by their bed are those very thin ones. So far it has worked for us! ☺️
