The first time I saw this, I was about 5 years old in morning kindergarten circa 1954. I came home for lunch and turned on the TV as the local Chicago stations had kids' shows on daily at noon. The station I turned on didn't have many cartoons and they showed this silent short that day and scared the living whee out of me. It was a few years before I lost the fear of being picked up and abducted by a giant bird. 67 years ago, I feel ancient.
I wish luck to all of you film students!! :DD I wanted to be a filmmaker too for so long, but I simply retain my passion for film, and have been working through some of the first years of film, recently, just casually for fun! 😊
Film and photography major back in the 70's. I have loved the silents since my childhood, used to collect them in 8 & 16MM and still do if something interesting that I don't have pops up.
@@rickeyhargrove7556 Most impressive! 😯 It's cool to see other people who have a passion for it, I've been really enjoying making my way through a selection of early films like this :D
