31:21 There was a line round 2 game 2 where you could of killed your opponent via mill using a trench post since your opponent only had 9 cards left. A lot of interesting angles with this deck! Great video
Loved that Trenchpost got to shine. Loved wiggling for like 5 turns against Storm. And loved opponent's PoP in round 4. As an old school fan of Tooth and Nail, this deck made me smile.
Devourer of destinies is castable off tron, pitchable to ugin labrynth, removal, ans early game consistancy on a modest body. Great card for tron type shells. Thanks for joining my ted talk

23:16- As soon as I saw dress down in the saga deck my spidey-senses started tingling. Great to know I still got it. Paying 6 for the chasm seemed iffy with rings in your deck. Isn't it better to use caves for vesuva on glimmerpost, saccing the chasm and casting a ring?
Great deck, very excited for new eldrazi. I suspect that ulamog the ceaseless hunger should be a 4 of. Almost every time you played the defiler, it felt as ceaseless would have been as good or better given it’s immediate board impact. Looking forward to seeing how the deck develops
Thoughts on including Ceaseless Hunger? Or didnt really miss it? Maybe instead of force of vigors could look into foundation breaker for artifact hate since its not as green pip intensive...
i would say swapping crop rotation for maps is better with how little green the deck runs, haywire mite probably better artifact hate and maybe a 1 of urza's saga with at least 1 main deck vexing bauble.
g5r1, you and i both laughed at the same time in the same way, then said "ooh" after laughing at the same time & my girlfriend rolled her eyes into oblivion 😂 but god that was a good play
Hey Phil, how you feel about moving one of your wincon in the SB, and one of the lands in the SB also, and having living wish in the main? Will that be a bad idea? Drawing the wish gives you the option if you need a win con, a hatebear, or a piece of the puzzle for your mana production.
I don't think the deck needs access to that utility. Living Wish is VERY rarely good in Legacy; this deck already feels strong, so I don't think I need a tutor when I already have reasonable mid-game spells I can cast to make it to the late game.
Hey Phil, is there a chance some of the higher cmc nonbasic ramp spells might work in this shell? Map the frontier and cosmium confluence come to mind, as a 4 mana ramp two planar nexus, and a 5 mana make threat, ramp nexus, remove enchantment modal spell.
got a question, if lets say someone has a thalia and you got a vexing bauble and the enemy uses force of will and pitches another card and pays 1 for thalia, does the vexing bauble still counter it since mana WAS spend to cast it?
In a world of Wastelands, do you think Emrakul at 15 is still too much mana? I feel like it could be better to cast 13 mana Emmy and take over their turn
I used to play legacy post. Playing a deck that loses to 4 commonly played legacy cards is rough, but this new version looks sweet. I think Karn is probably a 4 of though.
I would argue going full colorless with a playset of candelabra, amulet of vigor and KCG is much faster and more aggressive, you're either a deploying eldrazi threats really fast or using karn as a mid-range threat to either play wurm coils sundering Titans, or just playing a prison game with lattice
In game one of round two I guess you forgot that that you had sacked a glimmerpost already, so you already got out all 4 of them. I guess you would have gotten a Vesueva anyway if they didn't stifle Urza's cave after you figured it out from looking at your library.

Absolutely savage. Well-deserved and close win.

Rick. That was a beautiful win.👏🏽
I loved that PoP so much.

So much mana, big swingy plays, win out of nowhere.

I wonder if there's any way to fit an amulet in posts. But it's only necessary on like turn 2/3 so maybe it just ain't it.
