Levenmouth Rail Link Opening Day Inaugural Trains

The Levenmouth Rail Link opened to passengers on Sunday, 2 June 2024, with two new stations at Leven and Cameron Bridge. In this video, I ride the inaugural train in passenger service from Leven to Edinburgh, which departed at 08:30. I alighted at North Queensferry where I joined the inaugural train heading from Edinburgh to Leven. This was a wonderful day with lots of fanfare from people living locally to train enthusiasts coming from afar. I hope the local communities will benefit from the railway for many years to come.

I've not been to Leven in many years but with the new rail link from Waverley I'll definitely visit soon as it's a nice wee place that time forgot & long overdue this line being opened 👍
