  • Before this, my idea of Japanese Italian would fall on Saizeriya, a family budget restaurant chain known for it's cheap pastas and tiktok hate.
But when my birthday came and Shareen had to find a restaurant that wasn't fully booked from V'day spillovers, she somehow managed to discover Ristorante Takada. Who would imagine that a little restaurant in Queenstown (below a condominium at that) could house such delicacies.
I went with the Chef's 4 course omakase while Shareen went with a simple 3 course meal (which she chose the fish and bolognese) because she couldn't eat much. From the looks of it, the main difference seems to be the dessert course, where I could sample all 3 types of desserts they had to offer, while Shareen could only choose one (she got the cheesecake w/ gelato).
Highly recommend this place for a simple and yummy date.
