It's very difficult at first, and after years I'm still not the best. You do get better with time and practice. What helps me the most is saving up mats to make really good armour, like Snow Hunter and this Storm Herald armour, and making every single Mandrake potion into a Monastery potion. And they've been selling Luck potions and St. Peter's tinctures during Scarlet Hunt events, and I buy like 20+, to help with tough dungeons and bosses. I'd say I'm somewhere around half as good as Apple here, so I lean on really good armour and healing, and spells if I can find ones that work. Most bosses you can't do much with spells, except Divine Retribution, but they're really slow to acquire. Same for Freezing, when it works. I found that beating Plague Santa with controlled rats hilarious - they wipe him out, and I have more of those scrolls than I know what to do with. Also, I've still never successfully defeated Aisa, even after watching it done over and over. Now that I've almost maxed out Nameless God abilities, I might manage, because I bought the one where the Night POS can't show up lol. I'll give it another try sometime.
Run stuff you know you can win and build up. It takes a while to build up good reserves. Don't tackle tougher stuff until you feel more confident and can handle losses without being cleaned out totally. Also, some things leave your body and stuff on the ground, and if you come back with armour and weapons you can loot your own body. Maybe work with those for now.

@@JonJon-r2m : I like chatting about this, and I've watched Apple dance circles around bosses for years now. Pretty bloody skilled. If I tried that I'd either lose fast or have to run away (usually lose, because you can't react fast enough). So I have to do the build up stuff method, and run stuff that I know will make a profit. Like Fallen Knight with copper armour, a wolf with a bone, and a cheap bow to lure them away from the others. Also, don't use wolf treats. Once your wolf runs out of juice just park it and let it recover at home, or call for another wolf. This way you can stockpile some wolf treats for hard stuff. You can also use longer weapons to try to avoid a few hits. I find that I can stab them with a bronze spear, or some swords are a bit longer, and when I hit them they hit back, but I run just a little bit away and can sneak in a 2nd hit before they can hit me a 2nd time. Takes practice, and doesn't really work on Forsaken/Fallen Knights - they are just too damn fast at striking. Usually blow-for-blow with them, except the last hit. Hope this is useful :)

If you make armour sets you can spend over 500 thick cloth pretty fast, so I'm guessing Apple just keeps making it like I do. I also buy all 3 Tailor chests when they go on sale, because it's just way easier than trying to farm for hours every day. But I still farm when I'm out, because you can never have too much. Even 5k thick cloth would go within 6 months I bet. I have a little over 1k now. I stopped making it and I dropped from over 1k to about 300 in a few weeks, so I realized you can't stop. Unlike Apple, I need awesome armour or I croak like a stuck pig fairly often, if it's a decent boss. Other than that I can now manage most things with copper armour, and light farming runs with cloth or leather. To go to the North for iron, I wear bronze, or I die. I'm slowly improving though...
I am almost f2p except the last 2 SH when i buy tickets so no tailor chests, and the problem may be that go heavily armed i use full set of the night hunter for the skull 3(i used only chest hat and legs before this set but i figured that i died in 20 runs and the cost of new pannier is less than gloves ans shoes) for north i use almost full falves and bronze chest. May be the big difference is big bosses like rogvold yesterday i go there i spend full bronze to rogvold 1 full iron and start second full iron. The problem is when i have some cloth i use it heroic dungeon torture dungeon in torture i use 5 full bronze sets (2 for first floor 3 for second) And how do you farm it in north i go there mainly in SH for points when i go i go with 15/17+ pannier and not have space i go with 3 sets armor 6 weapons crossbow and 3-4 food and do around 7-8 5 skulls. And cant go too often because of the oats
No you can still lightning damage her using herald Armor... But it's not worth it... It's too risky and dangerous because herald set doesn't offer any ice protection... You can die in 1 hit if you get caught by his skill

Boots and helmet are good cuz of the speed but you need cold 🥶 protection its the most useful set in the game but not halt

I farm them in skull 5 together with the ice weapon... I rarely craft Armor except if I want to go to catacombs, wagenburg and dungeons
