Rob doesn't know it but the reason the 3 rotor doesn't work isn't actually grape juice, but the knock sensor read wrong and threw the camshaft position sensor off. Hi Rob. I recently built a similar setup using the SmartWire on Azn's Dung Beetle and it works great. You might want to consider a small fuse and relay block for your ignition (as you stated) but also for the injectors and the ECU itself. You can activate all the relays with one of the SmartWire outputs.

8:37 A consistent dip and a consistent speed will make it look real nice. Aluminum runs pretty hot and fast and you don't need as much filler as you think you do, especially on thin stuff.
That wasn't aluminum; hopefully, you knew that and were just offering extra advice. I have found that moving too slow, with too little heat, makes it harder to get nice beads on either metal. Running hot and fast can help reduce heat input into the part. X2 on consistency.
Rob, you need to have circuit protection for all of those high amp circuits. A fuse blowing means something is fucked up and you'd rather fix the issue then replace your nice shiny module or run new wiring
I really enjoy the new generation of PWM's but it really comes down to your needs and if you want a "solid state sequencer" that requires constant power (don't know if racepaks one has internal batteries)...great but still have limitations and not to mention you can't borrow parts to fix it. for many setups yes. IIRC two 16AWG wires with 20A each will equate to 11AWG/40A which could be inadequate. In these cases just use a single fuel pump output (freeing the other in the process) to trigger a dedicated relay or two.
I definitely think you should do something to isolate that oscillation. It can lead to the flutter effect and then have catastrophic failure. Like the Tacoma Narrows Bridge
is it ok to directly mount the engine to the stand or would you need some sort of rubber engine mounts to reduce the vibration....I feel like it's going to shake like crazy when you turn it on.

I feel like he should remake the stalk out of billet aluminium though just for because reasons
