Two words for you to look up the definition and pronunciation of: 33:45 Matron - MAY-trun - A woman who supervises women or children (as in a school or police station) Synonymous with matriarch. The text (27:55) said The Gorgers were Scavenger Queens so your Scavenger Matron was a woman. 15:15 Curios - CURE-ee-ohs, rhymes with Cheerios. Something (such as a decorative object) considered novel, rare, or bizarre. A curiosity. Sometimes called novelties, knickknacks, trinkets, doodads, baubles, and ornaments. These are often displayed in glass cabinets, called curio cabinets, and sold in shops, called curio or novelty shops. I'm sure the ones the Carpenter is referring to would be the Queen's jewelry. Might be a magic ring, wand, dagger, crown, or other such item. Diadwyn is just South of a cliffside covered in clay. I highly recommend gathering a bunch so you can unlock the kiln. About the hidden/secret doors, the stone one is made from Castle stone blocks. If you don't have those blocks unlocked it isn't very hidden. The hidden wooden door is better, but I had trouble finding a way to make it look hidden since the dang game insists on putting a frame around it. If you stick it at the end of a narrow passage so both sides touch the neighboring wall it works pretty well, or you can make some sort of patterned wall with wood walls and evenly spaced pillars that are one door width spaced. That way it will just match the pattern and not look out of place. I'm sure you will find a method that works well for you. I look forward to seeing some building.
Thanks a ton! Some of these words are tough for me when I've never used them in my everyday language, and i come up on them suddenly in the readings. Might try to pause more to look it up for ones that are used a lot here like Matron. I appreciate the info!
@@Chiselchip Yeah, I read a lot of fantasy so I tend to pick up some of these words that are not used very often. As gloaming approached the charwoman descended into the dell. She could hear the calls of the raptors up in the aerie as they prepared to hunt the shrews and other rodents nestled in the fertile fields below. Any new words for you in those two sentences?

It's definitely worthwhile paying attention to when certain attacks are marked "Resisted" because it's a clue to what their weakness could be. Eg.. those banshee types in the carpenter's vault _resisted_ your ice attacks... so perhaps they're weak to *fire*? You might be able to one-shot them even
I like your Enshrouded videos. I think your voice is using an audio compressor effect. The dynamic range sounds very squashed. You sound clear, which is good, but with all the audio transients squash, the volume is like maxed out on every word, which is fatiguing on the ears. I can't listen for more than a minute before I have to turn your video's volume way, way down. Perhaps lower the compression ratio a bit or slow the attack on the compressor. It might be hard to understand, but imagine someone screaming into a microphone but without the distortion. It's clear but there are no peaks and valleys in the audio volume. It's all maxed out like a brick wall limiter effect. That kind of hard compression may be good for bass music but vocals need more subtlety to sound natural.
Want to say thank you for taking the time to go though the text as well as explaning what you are doing. So many videos I have watched on this game are rushed through, some without even reading the notes and letters. I think one would miss a lot of the adventures without reading the letters, just trying to get to the "end", or be the first to discover things I guess? Again, am really enjoying your adventures (edit: how do we find out when you are going to stream - don't want to miss it! Will you post the stream here if we do miss it? Hope so!! thanks again!)

sadly building blocks in magic chests don't work. You still have to carry them.
Ah ok, but you can still craft the stuff at the workbench from them then? That I don't mind too much since you can stack 5k blocks in a slot haha

Do you know that u can harvest any building in the world to gain access to their blocks by plopping a flame shrine and deconstructing that building?

Great episode! Getting into the shroud gives me anxiety😅Those shroud potions dont seem to do anything. Is there something I'm missing with them???
Take then before going down, they increase Max time, and do not add time while in the shroud
Someone said that you have to use the shroud flask before going into it, but haven't tried yet!
