This has become my favorite RUclips channel. I’ve been binge watching for days now. You’re very knowledgeable. Thanks for all the great advice.

Good info man! I do a lot of dual sired clutches, usually jumping in the desired male after I see 25mm on the ultrasound. Especially now, with the ability to gene test a hatchling for repressive hets, it really lets you maximize your most desired males. Not just in quantity of clutches, but in being able to rest that big banger male, locking him fewer times for the same results. Keeps him healthier. Nice!

I think you share my thoughts on this exactly after thinking about it a lot.
With regards to times you might like to split a clutch because you want both males to move a project forward - I think it's pretty much 99.9% of the time better to just buy another female for the second male to go to. Splitting a clutch is just so few rolls of the dice you're likely to just miss the combo you wanted for both of them.
Shoot, even with one male it usually takes 2 or 3 girls to get the odds in your favor when you need that specific combo to hatch this year.

Using a super form is the best way imo
Paired both a leopard clown het pied and a super enchi dg het hypo to a black axanthic girl this year.
There will be no question which male did the job.
Last year my sunset and a super enchi dg het hypo bred my hypo spotnose
No enchi we’re produced so we know who the dad is. Sneaky sunset.

Really interesting topic this week, good info to know and the strategy behind the decisions is fascinating. Not sure if it’s worth a whole video, but I’m curious about how you plan for hatchlings, specifically with rack space. Do you just have a couple of spare 1065s empty waiting on hatchlings? Do you house them somewhere temporarily and hope they sell soon? Do you space out your pairings so you rotate the hatchlings through your existing space?

Hi, I’m new to breeding. I have two females, you can feel the eggs in one but not the other. Should I still continue to breed her or wait until next season?
    thanks 😊😊😊

As long as the male is still eating, I would continue to pair once a month until she goes as it can be hard to tell when is the best time to pair without an ultrasound so this approach would make sure you have a lock whenever she is ready to go
