- Hi guys! In this video I go over how to play Reaper in PVP. This guide was done as of patch 6.11 and doesn't reflect any changes that were made afterwards!
Even after the buffs, Reaper is in a bad spot but hopefully you die hard Reaper fans have fun!

Thank you for this guide. I’ve been struggling with RPR in pvp and have been using the kit incorrectly. Though I guess there’s not much to do if an entire enemy team collapses on you when you try to use your burst on an enemy that just used their guard, is there? I’ve been thinking using LB to get out of those bad situations since it inflicts Hysteria. Though I hate the idea of using LB as an escape tool.
My pleasure Dillon! Using your Limit Break as an escape if planned isn't a bad idea. Reaper has the fastest charging Limit Break at roughly 35 seconds. Now if you do it as a panic and don't know what to do afterward then it's a bad idea.
thank you for this! I wanted to level RPR and also love PVP but haven't gotten the chance to play the new patch until today. I was wondering why I wasn't getting any kills until watching your video tells me arcane crest gives you a damn damage buff??
It's so funny that you can read tooltips as much as you want, but for some reason that part of the tooltip never really stuck with me because I was more concerned with what was wrong with my combos. I'll try out your combo and see how I do from there!

People definitely leveled up on reaper since this vid was made, and players are understanding the value of LB ripping guard (especially in synergy with other high damage lbs like drg) AND stealing wins before OT or just striaght up point control. Have your opinions changed since?
I agree with the points you made Jay! My opinion was around the current META we were in when the video was made but since things have been balanced now I think Reaper is a fine pick!

@@Naztalgic_Memories i don't know if it's true but that could be why the LB is so underwhelming in damage, because it's spammable and can rip people out of guard it'd be broken if it did huge damage to

What do you mean purify gives five seconds of immunity to debuffs? Every time I use it, I get paralyzed, stunned, sleeped and slowed within four seconds of using it.
It's what the tooltip says Midichlorian! It has been noted that Purify can be bugged which they still haven't fixed.
@@Naztalgic_Memories Note that it only gives you immunity to all those debuffs if you cleanse one of those debuffs with the ability. Mistiming it will unfortunately give you nothing - I can't tell you how many times I've been baited by a MNK running at me thinking they're gonna LB me only to whiff the Purify and THEN get LB'd
