good video thx i have been building pc since 1999 but i make mistakes like everybody, given the hassle to take care into account if this will fit or not in this case i prefer my bench test case, even for my normal pc , when something goes wrong or i have to change a component so much easier, i don t undertand why so few people use it.
i Ordered one of these cases for $98 open box on amazon, and now i want 3 more sp 120 pro rgb fans to fill the case. turns out they charge $80 for the set of 3 fans! So i purchased a second case for $98, removed the fans and controller, and sold it on fb marketplace for $75! So i only spent $23 on my second set of fans :)
Michael D like $1500 I already have a Corsair cx750m psu, rog strix b450-f motherboard, Ryzen 7 2700x cpu, Samsung evo 860 1tb ssd. Still need a gpu, Ram, OS and monitor.
rosie fun fun! I test fitted my cx750m fits with the cage in but it’s gonna be a tight squeeze. I’ll prob just remove it since I have a Samsung 860 evo 1tb ssd. I still need a gpu and Ram for my build. Lol
Love it! That’s really good to know about the drive bay in that space with the PSU and cooler mount. That’s the kind of thing you can never tell until you start building, so really good to hear. Honestly, I’ve really been getting into Corsair’s hardware lately.
Hi JD, and potential builders, Just wanted to say that I managed to build this + 1 HDD + 1 SSD + both fans on the AIO. Here are my notes: My memory modules were short (no heatsink), thats why they fitted. The power supply fits with cables and HDD, the trick is to insert the power supply face first and then turn it in the proper angle. The attachable power cables where pre-inserted (not all ofcourse, as many as i needed). My motherboard didnt have rgb port so I used All the RGB lightning cables (and its alot). to accomodate these cables on the back, I pulled them around top right corner, used the gap behind the cpu for the 'thick' rgb controller and connections, and down always from the right side. That allowed space for the SSD. A photo would be easier, but in any case, everything fitted, and I LOVE this case!
Thank you for reviewing this with the radiator. I'm working on my first build and shamelessly want to make it pretty. I assumed since they suggest buying the additional fans and radiators, that it would fit. I'm glad to know this is something I will have to watch out for.
If you were to go with low profile memory sticks, like the Corsair Vengeance LPX, that have no RGB, both fans should fit in the proper configuration where he is mounting the AIO. The Vengeance RGB stands at a very tall 51mm, to the LPX 31mm. Something to consider for a case with such a small form factor. I believe G.Skill trident ram is several mm shorter than the Vengeance RGB, it may be enough to make the difference
Regarding the fan node and connecting fans in order, you can move the order of fans in iCue if you have them wrong. Just by dragging and dropping the fans on the screen.
Great video bruh. I just did a build this year with the Corsair 220T case and I love it. I needed a smallish case that had good airflow. Building in this case wasn't bad at all.
this video has just saved me a few hundred dollars, I was gonna buy the same case, ram, and radiator, but now seeing as it has clearance issues, im going with a different case, thankyou
I’m just wondering why not mount the radiator in the front since it already has the fans for it and the other 2 white fans would be on the back and top for airflow. Great vid btw!
The best thing about this case is that you can vertical mount your gpu when building mATX to cover the empty space on the bottom. I got this case not to long ago and just built it and its pretty good only complain is where that hard drive tray is if you still want to use them and you have a modular power supply you can . I did it but you still have to remove the tray to get the normal atx power supply in their and figure out where your cables are going as well before re attaching the tray but it does work that way and you can still get a decent amount of cables going everywhere just have to really plan it out and good wire management. Or get an ssd m2 or 2.5 inch theres a holder on the backside for the 2.5 thats the easier option in my opinion . also wanted to say this video helped me figure out where exactly i was going with everything with my wires to motherboard helped out alot thank you for this kind of content.
HadeS Do you think Corsair vengeance LPX memory will fit about the same as the hyperx fury? I have this case and just ordered this AIO and was wondering if it will fit on top as well.
Got the same problem with the radiator. I just mounted it to the front upon the two upper fans in the front, which resulted in having not more than 2 mm's between my 2070 Super and the radiator, but works properly from what i see till now :) I recommend a bigger case if you wanna mount your watercooling system at the top of your case
always install ram, cpu, and AIO block before installing MOBO into case. Then pre-route the 12V EPS/CPU power cable through the top cutout to make sure it clears the board/radiator ahead of time. Mount the AIO up front to fit both fans. A single fan on a radiator will give crappy thermals. Better off going air if you keep it that way.

As it is, most AIO coolers forward fan will hit the RAM unless you replace it with a thin fan. Shame on Corsair for claiming that an H100 will fit up top.
I just built my first pc in this case, the cable management was hard and really stressful. I was about to fit 1 tb hdd which made the cable management more hard. It was a tight fit trying to put the back panel on.
Just bought this case without looking first until watching your video will need a new power supply to fit the case as I need hard drive space a rookie mistake on my part lol thanks for the video

It will only cost me $175, and i can sell my old case and fans. (fractal design focus g and 6 thermaltake tt rgb fans with 2 controllers) Hopefully i will be able to get $75 for everything.
Worst choice i made was buying a corsair h60 aio for my cpu, the tubes are very short, and very stiff. The only way to really mount it is to the top of a case, and by doing so you have to criss-cross the tubes. Looks like crap. I may downgrade back to my stock ryzen cooler and sell that aswell. save up for a rgb aio maybe.
@@jdtechgear Hahaha! That makes sense. I suppose the video was more about the compact build, and ya nailed it! You got my support benchmarks or not! ;)
Not sure if anybody has already said it, but you can actually fit a 3 fan GPU in this case fairly easily. I just did a build with this case and a gtx 1080 TI ftw3
Appreciate the vid man! Just bought this case and wanted some research before I got into it: Build: Case: Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Storage: Seagate FireCuda 510 1TB RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (for AMD Ryzen) Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM Desktop Memory F4-3600C18D-32GTZN Mobo: MSI MEG X570 ACE Motherboard CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (Glad you showed it fit lol) PSU: CORSAIR RMX White Series (2018), RM750x, 750 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White
@Bruno Sure did....I have both an SSD and reg HD in there....its a tight squeeze with all the wires but just think about your wire runs and you'll be fine. Also, be sure to check your GPU size...I honestly dont think a 3 fan card would fit
Ps I have that exact case, 4 SP120 RGB fans (3 that came with it plus 1 extra for rear exhaust) on the node, 2x SSD rear mounted, 2x HDDs in the drive bay and rm650 PSU and I can get the panel on without it bulging. I don't use braided 3rd party cables as the Corsair PSU cables are all black anyway. Biggest headache was the always stupidly stiff and thick USB 3 cable which connects next to the 24 pin on my mobo so there's lots of it left behind to hide. If it could be run and connected to a bottom mobo header instead then it wouldn't be so bad.
you have to remove the dust pad and mount the radiator fans on the front. Put the others on the top which would work but you don't have that dust filter
I used the 360mm cooler in the front of mine! You can only use 2 fans. But I installed 3 on the front side under the front panels as well as 2 on the radiator!
So in the long run will the fan issue he ran into cause the CPU to overheat or is that a fine permanent fix?? Referencing about 10:02 in the video. thank you for any help
Just bought this case and in the process of getting other parts as well, I actually have the same CPU Cooler in my cart and was nervous on if it would fit, it claims it should with the ram I got but I see now that I might have to adjust a bit but overall your build still looks fantastic so I know if I have to switch it up it wont look to bad at all

Impxlse oh i see what u mean. i don't know how many motherboards would put the ram slots low enough. for most i think it's about if the radiator can clear the motherboard itself
Yeah man me too, I feel like a lot of it is outside my control. I can always change the way I market and create my videos but the rest is dependant on a lot of outside factors. Even with better watchtime on videos it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
i believe it should be fine as long as you don't OC ur cpu but it may be a bit loud i could be very wrong I'm a massive noob when it comes to this stuff
Kinda sucks that you couldn't mount both fans to the radiator for the cooler. That's a deal breaker for me, was really looking forward to getting this case
Having the same case and just curious how others are building in it, You 100% could mount the AIO up front and it gives just enough clerence to the cables and still just fits a evga duel fan 2080 super. all in all a good case if you want to make it look completely full aand you dont have crazy over the top 1000 watt supplys and still expect to use HDDs
I don't understand how do you like this case when you point all kind of flows and errors in the design?? it's basic that if you put holes for radiator you will be able to add radiator with it's fans! (which you can't in this case..), moreover - you showed that if will be difficult to connect SSDs on their slots after you are done with the cables - not good at all! But I do want to say - LOVES your review - it feels genuine and you really connected PC parts so we could see if we will like it or not! great job! i think you should also mention if it was easy case to work with or not - I know it should be one time but in my experience it' s a little be frustrating to work with case that small especially when you have the space under/on your desk and you can have a bigger case.
Some advice on building upon this case: 1. Get some ssd instead of hdd 2. Install the radiator on the front 3. Get a small graphics card like MSI ventus
@@federalbureauofinvestigati9494 Sure. The case can technically hold both hard drive case and a modular atx psu, just that it will take many attempts to stick all the cables into the small gap.
I built a 3 PC in this with the rx 5700xt red devil with 3 fans as a first time builder. Soooooooooooooo it is definitely possible, I just had to scrap my AIO that I bought which I will save for a future build.
damn just bought this case aiming to get the same aio and ive the vengeance pro theres any way to make it work like putting a slimmer fan on the ram Side?
OH MY GOD THANK YOU! I felt so incredibly silly trying to figure out how to install my cpy liwuis cooling when the second fan would impede the ram on the motherboard, I wish I had known before. Have you attempted to or seen anyone install it in the front?
I have a 220T in black with the same white corsair AIO in this video mounted in front, because it wont fit on top which sucks, I would get pics to you if I could.
With the ram sticks I’m using I’m saving exactly 6mm of space I really hope that’s enough to mount the Rad on top because I plan on putting an 3090 in and a rad will not fit in the front due to the GPU length. I’m thinking worst case scenario I sand down the plastic that’s on the fan to just maybe get that little needed clearance over the ram
Where does everything plug in? I know it’s vague, but I don’t know where anything plugs in. 465x case, H100i RGB platinum, and one QL120 fan for the back exhaust. So 6 fans. All I’ve done is secure the motherboard. I think I will do a front mounted radiator behind the fans to give more room up top. That’s as far as I have got, I saw you plugged in a lot of headers before installing anything else, that’s where I’m stuck
The fact that the AIO does not fit on the top is a real bummer, however, couldn’t you just take off the fans, put the radiator on the front on the case then put the fans from the AIO on the top? That way you can still use and AIO and the fans don’t look weird set up the way you did it?
Will both fans fit with the Vengeance LPX RAM installed? My PSU is Cooler Master MWE 650 80+ gold it has mostly flat cables besides the 24 pin ATX so I'm good on that part.
Just rebuilt into this case, and had to go from my X62 AIO to a Cooler Master air cooler, and was curious if you still had the platinum aio still mounted on top? Or if you were to able to switch the fans would that fit? I just bought the vengeance pro RGB ram and not sure if it’s lpx enough
If you took out the hdd cage would there be another solution to installing a single hdd in the case..? I recently bought this case and am worried if I’m not gonna be able to install my hardrive in it. Would you just recommend only using 2 SSD’s? Very helpful video thank you👍🏻
I have one myself and believe that with Trident Z Neo RAM and believe both AIO fans will fit. I Will update the comment once I test for it. The measurements seem to pan out.

The only way to really mount it is to the top of a case, and by doing so you have to criss-cross the tubes. Looks like crap. I may downgrade back to my stock ryzen cooler and sell that aswell. save up for a rgb aio maybe.
Great build, man! That B-roll was super nice!
It'd be cool to see them up and running, maybe a game or benchmark?
Thanks dude! A game benchmark?? Well the CPU is twice the price of the used 1070 so I just never bothered haha
Just bought this case and wanted some research before I got into it:
Build:
Case: Corsair iCUE 220T RGB
Storage: Seagate FireCuda 510 1TB
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (for AMD Ryzen) Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM Desktop Memory F4-3600C18D-32GTZN
Mobo: MSI MEG X570 ACE Motherboard
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (Glad you showed it fit lol)
PSU: CORSAIR RMX White Series (2018), RM750x, 750 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White
hey did you build it? did your psu fit with the hd cage on?
@Bruno Sure did....I have both an SSD and reg HD in there....its a tight squeeze with all the wires but just think about your wire runs and you'll be fine. Also, be sure to check your GPU size...I honestly dont think a 3 fan card would fit
@@ragz713 mines a two fan but i'll measure it
Ps I have that exact case, 4 SP120 RGB fans (3 that came with it plus 1 extra for rear exhaust) on the node, 2x SSD rear mounted, 2x HDDs in the drive bay and rm650 PSU and I can get the panel on without it bulging.
Referencing about 10:02 in the video. thank you for any help
was your psu fan facing up or down when you did the build for this video?
I got this case in the mail today, my mobo got delayed and it’s coming later this week. Going to be building in this and I’m nervous lol
Building in this currently and its hell.
How is your pcs now guys?
Just bought this case and in the process of getting other parts as well, I actually have the same CPU Cooler in my cart and was nervous on if it would fit, it claims it should with the ram I got but I see now that I might have to adjust a bit but overall your build still looks fantastic so I know if I have to switch it up it wont look to bad at all
With ur build how much will it cost? I’m tryna use this case on a $700 budget and have all my stuff picked out but idk if it’ll fit
@@deklanburgess1907 im up to $1400 and have only bought half my shit but I went with Intel instead of AMD & a Asus motherboard, on top of that liquid cooler & then a 2-1TB Samsung M.2 NVMe SSDs. I went a little overboard because its my 1st build and my last gaming pc my cheap ass bought it bc it was $800 and came with a monitor and all that other shit
@@deklanburgess1907 ive been learning more working in a technology repair shop & my pops use to build pcs and I always wanted to build a gaming pc so I went bigger
10:06 Second fan will fit on the radiator with RAM low profile like HyperX Fury ?? 1cm smaller than the Vengeance Pro..
Anything under 34mm tall will fit with the second fan.
Hello, I have a question. Do you think the second fan will fit if you had a low profile ram like Crucial Ballistix LT? (10:09)
Canberk Eriş I think it would more depend on how high up the ram slots are on the motherboard
@@impxlse3495 i dont know of a single motherboard that elevates ram slots. and they all use a standard size of slot so i think it does depend on the ram sticks. i got it to work with hyperx fury sticks. if you really look at his configuration. it only misses the cut off by less then half of an inch. his exact ram sticks are 2 inches tall. and most low profile ram sticks are 1.35 inches tall. so it would probably fit.
HadeS no lol, I mean how high up on the board, not how tall
Impxlse oh i see what u mean. i don't know how many motherboards would put the ram slots low enough. for most i think it's about if the radiator can clear the motherboard itself
HadeS ah ok 👌
Beast! i have a similar size-ish mid tower Corsair 400C that was looking to throw in some new parts, vid was helpful, thx! left a like👍
IIRC, another tech YT channel asked Corsair if it supports AIO on the top mount and they said no. It's only limited to the front mount for AIO.
Wish this channel got a little more attention.
Yeah man me too, I feel like a lot of it is outside my control. I can always change the way I market and create my videos but the rest is dependant on a lot of outside factors. Even with better watchtime on videos it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
@@jdtechgear I understand. I have mentioned you to a few friends just in casual conversation. Hope your viewer count goes up.
So how do I turn down the speed of the 3 front fans on this case? They are 2 loud
Are the temperatures okay when you use the AIO like this with one fan? I have the same case and RAM :D
i believe it should be fine as long as you don't OC ur cpu but it may be a bit loud i could be very wrong I'm a massive noob when it comes to this stuff
I've got a compact ATX case (Lian Li A50N), it's pretty similar in how squished everything is. Worth it though.
How would that fit a rad with the hoses at the bottom of the rig? Wouldn't the GPU get in the way?
@@Jseagle1989 Depends on the GPU, I have a 2080 Super Dual fan and it fits just fine.
How was the temperature with the CPU after putting 1 fan at the back?
Heheheh 200
The only thing that I wish I could change would be that I could shorten the AIO tubes going and returning from the radiator.
Some advice on building upon this case:
1. Get some ssd instead of hdd
2. Install the radiator on the front
3. Get a small graphics card like MSI ventus
I was wondering, can I use an atx psu if I don't use hdd altogether? I'm thinking of moving my atx build into this case and I only use SSDs
@@federalbureauofinvestigati9494 Sure. The case can technically hold both hard drive case and a modular atx psu, just that it will take many attempts to stick all the cables into the small gap.
I have built a pc în this case this month and i gotta say this case is perfect ;)
Love your voice after those hyped clickbait shouting lame youtubers
I built a 3 PC in this with the rx 5700xt red devil with 3 fans as a first time builder. Soooooooooooooo it is definitely possible, I just had to scrap my AIO that I bought which I will save for a future build.
Great video my dude. Keep up the good work. Is it possible to make a top 5 compact ATX of 2019? Just wondering ... Thanx
why not mount the rad in the front with all that air moving thru temps shouldnt be a problem
Yeah. That's how they mounted it on the official Corsair website.
damn just bought this case aiming to get the same aio and ive the vengeance pro theres any way to make it work like putting a slimmer fan on the ram Side?
literally about to order it to and had the same problem
Yes, great build, man!!!
To take off the hard drive cage, what kind of screw driver do you need ? A Philips ?
The fact that the AIO does not fit on the top is a real bummer, however, couldn’t you just take off the fans, put the radiator on the front on the case then put the fans from the AIO on the top? That way you can still use and AIO and the fans don’t look weird set up the way you did it?
Will both fans fit with the Vengeance LPX RAM installed? My PSU is Cooler Master MWE 650 80+ gold it has mostly flat cables besides the 24 pin ATX so I'm good on that part.
i think that it fits, but do u know it?
Just rebuilt into this case, and had to go from my X62 AIO to a Cooler Master air cooler, and was curious if you still had the platinum aio still mounted on top? Or if you were to able to switch the fans would that fit? I just bought the vengeance pro RGB ram and not sure if it’s lpx enough
If you took out the hdd cage would there be another solution to installing a single hdd in the case..? I recently bought this case and am worried if I’m not gonna be able to install my hardrive in it. Would you just recommend only using 2 SSD’s? Very helpful video thank you👍🏻
If I wanted to get this case for my first build and wanted to keep the hard drive trays what’s the best way to go about that.
I have one myself and believe that with Trident Z Neo RAM and believe both AIO fans will fit. I Will update the comment once I test for it. The measurements seem to pan out.
I managed to fit a triple fan RTX 3060 in that case today but unfortunately had to move the fans around to fit it in
That B-Roll song hittin hard sonnnn!!!!!
I wonder if I can fit H100I RGB platinum aio on top of this case with VENGEANCE RGB pro ram on B450 tomahawk mobo. I would really appreciate some help with this.
LMAO Got the same issue here
@@moreehno9660 I decided to do not take a risk so im going for corsair x465 case. It has much more space, obviously its a little bit more expensive but still overall much better. I couldnt find any other lower-end solution. :/
Shindo well since I already bought this case, i think the corsair hydro h60 which is a single fan radiator is a good option for my 3600x and you can install it at the back of the tower instead of putting on top of it
It will not fit. Any 240mm will not fit with tall rams on that case
Love your channel. This is such a clean build.
Wanted to know where you got your RGB lamps? Those are awesome.
Unfortunately they don't sell them anymore but just look up rgb desk lamps on Amazon and you should see similar items!
What did you mean we have to go down 1 Hard Drive ? @ 12:06 Thank you for this video
Damn, just bought this case but not sure if my 3 fan Sapphire r9 3900 gpu will fit.
Tell me how your build went when you have finished! Going to build in the same case.
@@thegrand5104 It's an XMas gift for my son. But, I might open it up can see how the Sapphire card fits in there. I did some research and it should just barely fit.
@@thegrand5104 I just finish building this case and the 3 fan Sapphire r9 390 fits inside. Maybe half inch of space between the gpu and the front fans.
This is a great vid man, thank you
What size power supply can fit in this case? Cuz without taking out the hard drive case...Pls answer🥺🥺
I have 2 questions
1. Is there good cooling in the case
2.Does it come with the corsair fans and if it does how many?
I got a RTX 3080 Zotoc in this case with the stick front fans. It is very very tight but possible.
Sorry Zotac
Never mind the radiator, can you even fit a second 120 fan on the top just for exhaust? It still looks like it would be blocked by ram.
10:00 I had a same problem with my 275r airflow 🥲🥲
in the promotional video for corsair spec delta which has the same frame as this, they manage to put 240 rad in there with vengeance rgb memory module. idk how they manage to pull that off
No fans installed or only fans installed. It was a promotion lol
I love this case. Like alot. I'm thinking of a 3950X build in this bad boy.
Only 1 fan on the radiator? How's the thermals between one and 2 fans big difference?
I want it ugh but 2 years ago I got the 275r case so yea definitely shopper remorse
