It should be at least mandatory to have certification on non-vegetarian . not certification but should include all the information about how the product was processed and should be available on a government website. Additionally, a code or label on.the product should be provided to indicate whether or not the product contains specific ingredients. This would not only benefit Muslims but also non-Muslims, as they would have the necessary information about the product's contents.

Gaurav, the Halal definition is not defined properly, you touched base on it, but the depth with clarity would have been better. For the Muslims halal is very important to understand what the content of the product they use are, if it is using any By-Product of non-halal like pork fats, oils, gelatin, etc… can not be consumed by Muslims. Vegan, Vegetarian, and Non-veg are food indicators, in India FSSAI a government food and safety body approves food registration, which HALAL was overruling.

Every vegitarian food is by default halal.
And if a product is found non veg even after having a geen veg box symbol on it, then Hindus will be the first to sue the living hell out of that fraud company.
So the claim that halal tag increases price is based on pure assumption, these certificate would barely cost like 5k to 10k this is negligible to companies selling thousands and millions of units.
Cosmatic may contain animal enzyme or gelatin hence halal tag makes complete sense.

hahaha very funny , brother no one asked companies to take halal certificate , if they find it expensive then they should not get it , but as being a muslim and paying attention to todays time , not only non muslims but some so called muslims also uses haram products because they are cheap and normal muslim citizens are unaware of it so, halal certification from any muslim organisation is mandatory so that we can differentiate , for example products originated from pigs directly or indirectly are haram for us but some of them used those products in noodles which make that product haram so we need HALAL CERTIFICATION , Banning is not a solution govt can open a new comity who checks if there is illegal transaction to terrorist organisation if there is they can take actions , we muslims are also against terrorism but we think banning halal things or certifications is direct attack to muslims to show them how weak they are in front of such peoples , I just want to say that this is only an excuse that its for our benefit if you care for us allow halal certifications and you guys can keep an eye over them but don't ban such things which are for humans betterment
