- Game came out in 2018 I believe
- 2023 version doesn't have any new dramatic finishes
- Yea this game is a 2.5D fighting game like tekken n allat
- Im 90% sure Arc Sys (the games developers) have finished updating characters besides the occasional balance patch, so no more new dramatic finishes for a while, if ever.

@@geryeh5298 2.5D is when the gameplay takes place in a 2D view but the characters can move three directionally, like tekken. This game is only 2D and characters can only move in two directions. A 3D fighting game would be one which the camera captures all 3 directions and your character can move in all three as well, like sparking zero, even if that’s more of a party game.

2D: Movement on only the X and Y axes.
3D: Movement on the X, Y, and Z axes
2.5D: X Y axis movement with the ability to sidestep off the X axis before the game corrects. There's Z axis movement, but it's extremely limited to Steps. That aside, the controls and gameplay are more or less the same as a 2D fighter.
you gotta watch the family kamehameha in the anime/movie, even better than in fighterz, I'm surprised you'd never seen it before, but too be fair it was a dbz movie

What's really sick about Fighterz is that every single move animation can literally be traced back to a manga page, even the normal combo hits, they put a lot of love into the movesets.
Not EVERY single. They have to get creative sometimes. But that’s what drew me to FighterZ as more of a 3D arena lover. It was the choice to use the exact images of the series. I like how one move can be from OG than the next is from Super/GT lol. And since they don’t usually do every form for some characters. It can make to movesets more unique.

Anyway, that second Broly (Z) dramatic finish is based on the second Broly (Z) film.
Janemba was originally a young demon kid who worked with the other people who run Otherworld and he accidentally got transformed into Janemba when the machine holding in the soul’s evil busted and blew on him. Gogeta’s attack purified him of Janemba’s evil and returned him to normal where he ran away in fear afterwards. The POV shot we see is from the kid when he comes back.
Yeah the ‘I hope you come back some day as someone good’ line has been left out or tacked on in the end in more recent games which is sad but the more recent games tend to lean into DBS Goku’s personality more where he’s more fighting-focused so…
Also, to help, pronouce Gogeta’s name, do it like you would Vegeta’s name but with ‘Go’ in front instead of ‘Ve’
