My trip to Disney has been cancelled due to COVID. This makes me feel a little better. Thanks for posting such wonderful music

It’s a tragedy Disney decided to cut out the very heart of the Grand Floridian, the GF society Orchestra. They had been there since the opening and Disney and co “thanked” them by cutting them . Blaming Covid is a BS excuse.

Anyone know the origin of the recording of "Sing, sing, sing" here at around 28:00? It's not too familiar to me, and has a really unique, swinging and improvisational sound, especially the solo toward the end

Can someone confirm? At 19:06 it sounds like the lyrics are... "That's what you get for making whoopie." Lol I'm surprised Disney would allow this to be played on property if that is in fact what he's singing.
Yes, that is Eddie Cantor with the song from 1929 - "Makin' Whoopee". I would assume that if it was on the radio in 1929, then Disney would approve.
The past use of the word whopee is not what we know it as today. But that is even unclear. I did my own research on it before haha
I don’t recall hearing lyrics while seeing tours of the hotel. I heard the same thing and thought there’s no way they’re playing the lyrics to that song about making whoopee and divorce. I bet they’re only playing the instrumental version of the song.
