Way to go. I got a Shido Li-ion for my Triumph Sprint ST1050. So much lighter and smaller than the std lead acid batteries. Like yours fires the engine up immediately first time. As you say you need an Li charger which I have, an Optimate one which was cheaper than their conventional lead acid/gel battery ones. Your Ducati 916 BP is an antique now. Do you ride it much? Do you still have your Yamaha I seem to recall MT-09 as well? Still got my Cube Travel SL Gates belt bike which I bought on account of your very helpful videos of your Cube Hyde Pro? Have converted mine to a Rohloff hub, transforms it. Love it. I didn't get on with the Alfine 8spd hub because of the gearing, but the Gates belt I love. Must do a review of it one day. ATB.
