Simple elegant card. When I had my second bub, covid period, my LGA wasn't even a hotspot. Once my partner left the hospital he wasn't allowed back 😏 my son wasn't allowed in either. Once our 24 hours were up I went home to have my support system around me
Hi Kelly catching up on your videos! Love all the cards...Congratulations to you all on the birth of your precious baby girl, boy listening to all what happened until her actual birth was keeping me on pins and needles! So happy everything went well and you have your little bundle of joy at home. So happy for Peanut! I know for my own experience how nice is to have your son become a big brother to a sister...Sending you hugs, best wishes, and happiness 😊
Beautiful card ❤😍. Nathan is just the best big brother 💙, and Eric a great father 💙. Love to hear story time. Thanks for sharing 👍. My children also was great big brother and sister❤
Yes, I have definitely been enjoying the videos this weekend. Thank you! And I'm so glad that Peanut is adjusting so well to his little sister. When I had my daughter (way before covid days), kids weren't allowed in that part of the hospital but, thankfully, older siblings were! I can't imagine not being able to bring my oldest in to meet her sister right away.
Very pretty card! Awwww I can just picture Nathan's huge smile as he fed her. I bet that was a great story to tell his buds at school. There was no doubt he was going to be an amazing big brother!!
Such a great story...I love your "storytime"! It's so great that Peanut is so excited about his baby sister. Congratulations again on the newest addition to your growing family!!!
So happy that you have a happy healthy little girl with an amazing big brother to help with her. The card is amazing too! I’ll have to get the prisma colors out and try them on Kraft! Thanks for sharing with us.
I so loved your story made me tear up it was so touching. What a wonderful big brother. And Congrads on your sweet bundle of joy. When I had my children 50 years ago children were not permitted in the hospital room. You are amazing to be able to do you video with such a we one. When my son was born his big sister was 2 and I went to the bathroom to get it nice and toasty warm. And he sounded so close. She had gone and taken him off of the couch where I had put him, put her little arms under his arm pits and drug him to the bathroom she was just feet from the bathroom when I figured out what was going on. So she drug him probably 30 feet. She so wanted to be helpful. She grew up to be the best mother and grandmother. Kelly thank you again. And may Jesus keep you all save in these days we are living. He is coming soon.
Another beautiful card and video. My grandniece and grandnephew treat their baby sister like the family pet. They love her to pieces and help their mama however they can. I love how Nathan is the same way. You lil Mama are doing a fantastic job with Peanut and I’ve no doubt you’ll continue with sweet Katilyn.
Kelly, I am so very grateful that you and Kaitlyn made it through her tenuous birth and have come out on the other side well and thriving! ❤ Eric is definitely Superman for taking care of you as well as helping with both children, and Nathan sounds like he will be the big brother every younger sibling would pray for. I am so happy for you all!! Thanks for the beautiful card videos along with the story of Kaitlyn's birth!
I just love colored pencils on Kraft card stock and this card turned out beautiful. I had a feeling Peanut was going to be a helpful big brother. Just listening to you talk about him over the years told me he was going to be awesome. When my son was born he was jaundice too. They kept him under lights except for feeding time. They sent us home on the fourth day, but then I had to take him back to the pediatrician the next two days for blood test. I couldn’t drive either so had to have someone drive us. For the first few days at home they wanted me to put him in the sun for just a little while. He’d fall asleep in his bouncy chair on top of the kitchen table in front of the window where the morning sun came through. It worked.
I know no one who wouldn't think Golden girls and break out into song. So sweet of Peanut to help take care of baby sister. I remember that trying to get them on a different schedule. Tickling feet or a cool cloth on their feet helps. Great to see and hear from you again.
I think Nathan is the best big brother ever! So Sweet helping you out with his sister. My daughters now 30 years old asked me when her baby brother was leaving after two weeks.I wasn t shocked I knew it would be difficult for her She was the only child for almost 5 years. My husband took her more out of the house and gave her the extra time and attention she needed. After 25 years they are very close now as brother and sister.
It’s so awesome to have help and your husband is a rockstar for being there. When I had my daughter 4 yrs ago via c-section I came home a 10p at night with her so no pharmacy was open to get my prescription filled and when I tell you I woke up the next day with no pain meds and a crying new born it was the worst! I literally had to drive myself to the pharmacy to put in my prescription bcUz I had no one to help me. It instantly put me in postpartum depression. Good thing you have someone bcUz it sucks having to do all that shit alone
Loved story time! Brought back so many memories! My daughter was about 3 ½ when my son was born. After we got him home she decided he was really boring and couldn’t play with her like she expected. She was fascinated by Oscar the Grouch at the time and asked if we could throw baby brother in the trash! Thank you so much for sharing. Grandbaby #2 is due in February and all this info is really helpful. Plus loved the card.
Pretty card! I like color pencil, but man, it takes me forever. How wonderful that Nathan jumped right in to help. He’s already a sweet big brother. How lucky you are.
Wow your really on a roll w/ videos lol. I know there is another one which I’ll watch next. So happy Peanut is loving his baby sister and no signs of jealousy. He’s such a good boy really he is. Lol I am the middle child and when I was born my brother told my mom & dad that he didn’t want a baby he wanted a DOG🤦🏻♀️. Nice huh well that’s that. I’m so glad everything is working out well and glad your back. Take care and oh feel free to post pictures as often as you feel the need lol.
He’s such an awesome big brother! My baby brother was nine years younger than I was and I thought I was his mother. It’s so sad that he wasn’t able to go to the hospital, I mean I get it but still. When my baby brother was born no one was allowed to bring kids into the hospital so my dad held me up to the window and the nurse held the baby up to the window and we got to see him that way. I’ll never forget that. Of course then the hospital was only one level, LOL, so it made it easier to look in through the windows. Your card is beautiful, I have prisma pencils need to go back to using them a little more.
I smiled so wide when hearing about Peanut with the screwdriver changing the battery! He’s an awesome big brother! Lovely card and congratulations on your new addition to your family.
Awesome story and card. I just finished binge watching The Golden Girls. It’s my go to when I need a good laugh and I never get tired of it. I have a question. Are you nursing your daughter or doing formula? When my husband and I had our daughter we alternated between both, but I mostly breast fed her for the first year. I loved it. Congratulations to you and your family and especially to your amazing son and husband. ~Lisa Morrow~
That sucks that the hospital wouldn't let Peanut come in! It must have something to do with Rona, cause the majority of hospitals allow siblings to visit. In any case, it makes me smile hearing about all the help he's providing you with. 💜
Congrats on baby girl...and what a darling big bro she has! Question. If you used gamsol on the colored pencil, would it make it easier for the pen using for shadow?
First of all who doesn't love a "Golden Girls" reference only thing missing was a famous Rose Nyland story about St. Olaf ( which is real city in Minnesota and the name of the current king Harald of Norway's father who was actually born in at Windsor Castle and was a great grandson of Queen Victoria (her granddaughter Norway's future Queen Maud was the daughter of Edwards VII, Queen Elizabeth's great grandfather. I'm a bit of admirer of all things European Royalty😀👸🤴👑🕍) or one of Sophia's picture this stories. Pretty cards Aww Peanut is a superstar big brother and is adjusting so well having a little sister. 🧒👶 All of my siblings ( from dad's first marriage) were teens and in their early 20s( oldest brother) when I made me grand debut ( 40 years ago come 2/28) so no need for arranging for places for them to go. Although my maternal grandmother did come and stay for a month from northern California and held me the whole time , in between cleaning the oven and ironing my dad's shirts for work which both of parents didn't mind. Years later after she first was developing dementia, living with us. and after my mom gave my dad a good talking to about something, my grandmother called my dad into the kitchen and told him not to worry about my mom, she told him( and my mom heard everything , spoiler alert and this will be important in a minute, my mom was the signatory for my grandmother's slightly over $660 Soc Security checks) that when she got her social security check, she was going to buy him 3 things, a new suit, a new Cadillac and a woman that loves him.
Kelly I used your link to order the prisma pencils I didn’t see white pencil to order separately, my question is does it come in the set? Loved your card and want to try your technique. So happy for your family with your new blessing 🎀
As soon as you said Nathan was your person I was like children aren’t allowed. That is disappointing. The dr should have told you that. It’s funny how grown up he now is. I love that he does it on his own. It’ll make him feel good about himself.
So pretty on kraft paper. I love hearing the stories about your children. He sounds like a good brother and am so happy for you and the family.

Congrats on your brand new human. That card is gorgeous
Beautiful!! So glad things so going so well with Peanut. I know from others that sometimes there is a big problem with it.
Immediate Golden Girl vibes! We can be friends! Peanut is such a sweetie! I call my son Peanut too!

I'm sorry your experience was so tough.
So sweet about Nathan!
Before you even said, “if you’re not singing”…. I was already jamming out to the Golden Girls theme song! 😂 loving the card and your amazing coloring!

Fantastic card. Love your story time. Thank you.
Beautiful card Kelly. Where you find the time, who knows. Love story time and hearing about peanut and Caitlyn. ❤️
Aw, Peanut is the sweetest little guy. You must be very proud of him. :o)

So sweet!! Good job, Peanut! 👍🏻😊 I am the baby too and my older sister is a "Kim". Lovely card!

Now we are getting spoiled with three consecutive videos! What a heart warming story time. Your card is fabulous, as usual. 🥰
Love the bright colors on craft! Great big brother stories! Tell Nathan to keep up the good work! Enjoy the snow😁
I love that Peanut loves his sister so much and such a big help! Also your husband certainly has been too!
Beautiful card!!
I’m part “Blanch” and part “Sophia” from the Golden Girls, southern born, southern raised and feisty.
Love this card, you have inspired me to get out the colored pencils :-) Good job Nathan ! :-)
What a wonderful little boy you're raising. So happy everything as gone so well with you all. Love that you're back with stories and cards.
Loved the triple story time weekend! All the cards were beautiful! Congratulations to you all!
Loving your videos this weekend. Your cards are all wonderful. And love your storytime.
Yay! I enjoyed the Kelly weekend! Good job, Peanut! ❤️
Great cards Kelly so happy to hear that peanut is adjusting well to being a big brother.
I’m literally sobbing that peanut couldn’t be up there with you. He handled it like a champ. Good job mama!
My favorite artist, painter, story telling, etc.! I couldn’t wait to get off work to watch your video!!!!!
I’m so happy that you’re back! 💕
Nathan is such a great big brother..

Maybe! I should try that!
After my daughter was born my son would tell me to "put baby back" when she cried. LOL
