  • Wrecker Rick, Butzlaff, Michael, Fenner, Hotrod and Heavy T may have just saved Northern Arizona…no wait…all of Arizona? The lower half of the Western United States of America? We will never know because Murphys Towing prevented yet another catastrophic event! This hydrogen tanker hit an elk heading West on Interstate 40 and rolled over. We got the call and had to go. Watch as Wrecker Rick uses his knowledge of his rigging, Baileys Towing Accessories, to plan the strategy the engineers approved of. Murphys does it again in this epic double rotator recovery. War Machine (75 ton rotator), Martin Riggs (50 ton rotator), and John McClane (9055 Wrecker) successfully tackle this recovery. The best equipment, the best rigging and of course the BEST team at Murphys Diesel. Be sure to buy some merchandise at our online store and support a family business. Man, something like that so heavy and liquid, the stresses of rolling and compromising the welds would make me very nervous that moving it would crack it from all the stress. Damn, you guys do deserve Medals, for moving that wreck!

Hydrogen trailers are a special unit, they are a vessel in a vessel in a vessel, the inner that holds the Hydrogen liquid is cooled by Nitrogen liquid and that vessel has a vacuum pulled on it and the outer vessel to keep it cold. When liquid Hydrogen warms it turns back into gas and starts building pressure and the safety valves will start to lift and vent the gas which will ignite. When Hydrogen burns it is almost invisible to the naked eye, when working on Hydrogen vessels it requires non sparking tools.

When I was a wee one ,my cousin in Ohio came with his mom and dad and they showed me photos of what happens when a dynamite truck gets a rear end collision, it was hauling 7500 pounds to a construction site , it removed 2 lanes plus an on ramp and was 75 feet deep. The driver and the partner disappeared as did the truck and part of the over pass a 100 feet away , the shock wave pushed several cars off the highway but their passengers were safe. Man just imagine one second you're talking to your co-worker and the next you're a red mist, dang that's hard.

That tank is built like a thermos bottle, the vacuum between the inner and outer tank reduces the rate of heat transfer, if you break the outer tank it allows heated air to contact the inner tank and causes excess pressure to build. And believe me when I say you don't want the pressure relief valve to open on that, if it does RUN AWAY QUICKLY.

Frontier Barbeque & Beer Garden’s!!! I know this place!!!! Last time my wife and I was driving down through there, on our way down to Arizona to visit a cousin of hers that both of them grew up very close to one another.
And, her cousin is married to a good man down in Flagstaff. We would stop in there each time we go we really like it. We get a large order to start with the, BBQ Nachos.
I forget what she orders for herself, but I always get a large pulled pork meal. It’s all, TO-DIE-FOR!! And I’ve been meaning to say this, but we have been through Ash Fork several, times.
And I usually get gas at the Shell station so I looked you up and sure enough you’re right behind the same gas station that we have stopped at and also picked up snacks and drinks!! Talk about a small world!!

You couldn't tell the difference between loaded and empty.

Beautifully executed recovery, and staying in contact with the trailer manufacturer on HOW to do it... PRICELESS...
Now, on the weight issue... Your weight, not the trailer weight... Hahaha...
For Hotrod to gain 50lbs., all he's gotta do is eat 7 plates at a buffet twice a day, and a half-gallon of ice cream before going to bed...
For you to lose 110lbs., it's gonna be a truckload of "rabbit food" salad with tomatoes, NO cheese, NO oils, NO bleu cheese or ranch dressing (dry, yecch), and jogging 10 laps around the perimeter of your Ash Fork yard three times a day (30 laps)... NO sodas - WATER ONLY, 1% watered-down-ass milk, and nothing with HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP... NO delicious, juicy steaks, NO buffets, and fat-free ice cream ONLY... You CAN'T be allowed to enter a supermarket or restaurant UNSUPERVISED, and you'll need to have a time lock on all refrigerators in your possession... If I think of anything else, I'll letchya know... Prepare for MASSIVE boredom... Hahaha...
I don't even know where all this schitt came from, 'cuz I'M THE SAME SIZE AS YOU!!!🤣🤣🤣

In the city of Chicago before 1980 and for a few years after you only could tow for one exit. You had to use surface streets. If you had a fuel tanker you couldn’t get put on another tanker. You towed those bad boys to their stops. Using surface st.if you had multiple stops you had a long day. You couldn’t repower them with another tractor. Stiff legs wouldn’t hold them. Can you imagine doing that now. A hazmat crew, police, utilities it would cost 10 bizzillon.
