The Bauer Vapor 1X Lite Shin Guards are the lightest elite shin guards ever released. Bauer only used their most technologically advanced composites and foams to reduce the weight by 10% compared to 2016 1X, without compromising protection or coverage.
So are they the most lightweight shin guards on the market?

Yes 15" shin guards would work for you, however it is always best to measure (in inches) from the center of your kneecap to the top of your skate boot. So a 16" shin guard would fit nicely over your tongue, but if you want to wear them underneath the tongue then the 15" would be the way to go. So make sure to choose the size that will work for how you plan on wearing them.

More of a personal critique on the style that you guys are doing the video now. The still or slow motion shots cut over parts where you're actually showing and moving the gear seems like a bad idea. We have no idea what exactly are showing, and sometimes you start talkin about the next piece and it's still on the same still shot..

Hey Chase, I was looking to get new shoulder pads, was thinking the new Bauer Vapors or the new CCM Jetspeeds, they both look really good, would you recommend one over the other? I'm guessing I can't go wrong with either one especially since it's non-checking but just was wondering your opinion. Thanks
I just bought the shoulder pads and shin pads and they are by far the lightest protective gear I've ever worn, I plan on buying the pants,gloves and elbows next
If you can be sure to go into a store and try each one on and even other things like supremes or nexus and etc, I went in to try on the 1s's but they didn't fit me while the 1x lite fit basically perfectly
Hey chase, I'm worried about buying these because the knee cup looks very fragile. Will it last if I bought these, I block tons of shots and my last pair of warrior hd1's are shattered
