His woodworking is top tier, his video editing and scripting leagues ahead of many if not all RUclips channels. Always so informative and enjoyable to watch with his calming voice over. Or maybe it is Bonny, Calvin or Clair doing the scripting/editing:)
It's amazing how you keep stepping up your editing/production game. Between the 3D animations at the start and so smoothly inserting a second you into every scene I don't even wanna know how long this video took lol.
Yea his video production is just mind blowing. The appearance of a "live" narrator like that is amazing. I've never seen that before. I've seen split clones but narrating as he's doing the work is awesome
You could do the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. They are often used in decorations during the Lunar New Year festival which is in late January next year.
Your editing game on this video was absolutely superb. This might be your best work yet. Your knack for telling a story is hard to match. Great work as always, Frank.
with 12 pentagons, and 12x5 = 60 triangles, if you put the numbers 1-12 on the pentagons of one ball, and 0-59 on the triangles of another. So you could turn it into a clock -> 12 hours and 60 minutes :D Provided you had a super complicated mechanism to turn them
Watching you stand there and comment on your woodworking while you’re working in the same frame is so funny and I love it so much, I can tell how much you enjoy editing and care about your videos
Hello, my name is Stefan. I come from Germany. I would like to say... "I look forward to every new video of Frank"!!!! Thank you very much 😃👍👍👍 I like the videos very much
12 numbers on a clock, the 12 days of Christmas, a dozen eggs, 12 donuts, or as you're approaching in this past video, 12 different Franks. You could do inlays of 12 silhouettes of yourself!
Holy cow, I’m completely blown away by thoughtfulness, patience and sheer skill that went into editing this together! You are truly brilliant, both with the tools and in front of and behind the camera. Amazing work, I always look forward to a new Frank Makes video!
I still love that you shared about struggling w/ speech, and now enjoy all the more, hearing your smooth and eloquent narrations. That and the signature chuckle . Good work and thanks.
Frank Howarth - Industrial Light & Magic of RUclips Woodworking. Editing, 3d animation, narrative flow and - the most important - craftsmanship is astonishing.
If you are looking for a 12, try screw head types, with a little bit of research you will find more than enough especially if you delve into security screws companies don’t want you to undo. With the different head types there are plenty to choose from.😁 I bought a set of screw bits once to undo most of them and there were way more than 12 types. Also if you made 6 of the pentagons out of resin, would it be possible to insert an LED light to make a Christmas ornament. All the best to ya😁😁
I am watching your videos since 5 years ago and I am always amazed by the work you do, the thought process behind the project and most of all the storyline of the videos, outstanding! I understand everything you explain in technical details and it makes sense in the way you are explaining it. Without a joke, you are editing and telling the story far superior than many Hollywood film editors. Thank you for sharing your videos and it’s always a pleasure watching you.
Awesome as usual Frank, thank you sir. As for 12.Months in a year was my thought, combined with seasons. Somehow making a "globe" for the seasons in transition over the course of a year. Pickled my noodle when I really started to think about it, but if someone can, my $$$$ is on you. Thanks again for the vid.
I have seen many videos on woodworking and woodturning but none as precise and calculated as yours. It is incredible how you use your math knowledge including geometry to create perfection in your pieces. Yet, you explain so well that it makes it easy for anyone to follow your instructions. You inspire others who are afraid to créate more complicated pieces to dare and try. Thank you for your ability to inspire and teach. 👍❤️
It would not be a simple setup, but 12 days of christmas from the song...I love watching your videos, seeing your cool tools and listening to the reasoning behind the steps.
I'm 2:18 in and had to stop and comment, because you giggled, which set me off. I don't know what it is about your laugh but it sets me off every time. You are a tonic. Thanks Frank . 😘😅😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The editing was superbly done, so much so that I spent too much time looking for clues to how it was done and I missed some of the actual operations. Eventually extra Frank just became the narrator again, only this time a more engaging and interactive narrator.
Thanks for sharing, Franks! It was pretty smoothly choreographed, next time tell Narrator Frank to be prepared in time for Woodworking Frank to do his thing.
Dude, I wish I had clones of myself too.No, seriously, what the hell with this outstanding productions!?!? This video alone is worth and award for FX in education.
Frank, I am incredibly impressed (as many others are) with your VFX, animation, and editing on this video!! You are even doing some roto for your "twins" to cross over each other! Incredible work, and I love how the "narrator" is starting to become more of a character. Great job
This is a perfect marriage of art and science. I've watched literally, every one of your videos Frank and this one is next level. When you busted out the third Frank I thought to myself, now there's something I've not seen anyone do. Oh....for your 12 things to put in the middle of each pentagon.....the Apostles? The 12 Tribes of Israel? Pictures of your children one year apart for the first 12 years of their lives?
The continuing quest of the perfect dodecahedron sphere. I think this one comes pretty dang close. Really enjoyed the narration style here. Great project and great video. Thanks for sharing!
I think Frank is better at video making...! I mean, planning for the split screen work, the animation of the segmented spheres and just planning. Bravo. I watched this like 3x already! Now, if only the CNC had a sander....
I can tell that a ton of effort went into making those segmented spheres Frank! Good thing that there were three of you working on that project! Terrific videography as usual. 👍👍
As ever, Frank, I'm loving your designs and finish, as well as the superb production values. Some time, could you make a video of your editing process to give us lesser mortals some inspiration and encouragement? It looks as though there are green screen and background plates involved, but I'm blowed if I can see how you do some of the effects. And three Franks are extra value!
The video was fantastically edited Frank. I am happy to see you upping your production value with the 3D models. If you are looking for items to inlay maybe you can do 12 different tools you have around the shop?
Nicely done Frank. Using different species of wood, it would be great to see you either turn a sphere, or create a "wood painting" which reflects the characteristics of one of your favorite Picasso works.
Wow Frank, the post production in this video is insane. Well thought out the planning the angles and dialog. Even rotoscoped when crossing yourself... kept the background "Frank" out of focus... and tons of other little thing I noticed. Really nice. I just hope this level of production won't hold you back creating new video's. I mean, don't be afraid to release less intensive post production video's because you feel like you have to keep up this new level. Even though this is really entertaining to watch, it's the awesome projects you make that counts. About the 12 sides. The twelve months of the year came in mind immediately.
The woodworking is masterful, the filmmaking blows my mind. At around 19 or 20 minutes you walk in front of yourself and it gets me every time. Have you experimented with both Franks walking in front of each other in the same shot? Not sure how it could be done.
Wow Frank. The editing on this video was superb!!!
Agree
His woodworking is top tier, his video editing and scripting leagues ahead of many if not all RUclips channels. Always so informative and enjoyable to watch with his calming voice over.
Or maybe it is Bonny, Calvin or Clair doing the scripting/editing:)
Sure, it helps having two assistants ! (though when sanding, the narrating one should have a respirator too. that dust is bad news) ;PPP
I wonder what took longer. The wood turning or the editing of the video? Both works where insanely good
Hoywood stuff
It's amazing how you keep stepping up your editing/production game. Between the 3D animations at the start and so smoothly inserting a second you into every scene I don't even wanna know how long this video took lol.
And a third Frank inserted into a couple of scenes...
Plot twist: he actually has two twin brothers, and he'd been deleting them from previous videos.
Yea his video production is just mind blowing. The appearance of a "live" narrator like that is amazing. I've never seen that before. I've seen split clones but narrating as he's doing the work is awesome
Can I give it a few more thumbs-up? Lovely video!
You could do the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. They are often used in decorations during the Lunar New Year festival which is in late January next year.
could be really cool
or 12 Astrology signs
Auctioning could fetch much better price for the art with the twelve zodiac signs 👍
along this same thought, since I'm not the first with it, the constellations of the zodiacs
Your editing game on this video was absolutely superb. This might be your best work yet. Your knack for telling a story is hard to match. Great work as always, Frank.
I was impressed with initial animations but I love Red Shirt Frank popping up
with 12 pentagons, and 12x5 = 60 triangles, if you put the numbers 1-12 on the pentagons of one ball, and 0-59 on the triangles of another. So you could turn it into a clock -> 12 hours and 60 minutes :D Provided you had a super complicated mechanism to turn them
That is really creative idea using math!
What a good idea and you know he is going to do it!
I love seeing two Franks. I love how you always play with it a little two.
There were three Franks together at 15:49, if only for a second or two
This video was so well thought out and edited. The spheres turned out amazingly too!
I think twelve pictures to represent the Nativity story will be cool, and it can be this year's Christmas ornament =D
Absolutely amazing CGI in the beginning. I can’t image how long that took in blender.
Best voiceover work ever done.
Holy shit, your ideas and editing are as good and enjoyable as your woodworking.
The special effects are getting out of hand... I love it!
Watching you stand there and comment on your woodworking while you’re working in the same frame is so funny and I love it so much, I can tell how much you enjoy editing and care about your videos
I would love to see the 12 days of Christmas done for your yearly Christmas ornament.
I came for the woodworking and am amazed by the editing. Thank you.
Love the editing :) Perhaps the 12 months and make it a calendar ball? :)
Glad to see you finally got some help in the shop, Frank!
I’m so glad you teamed up with your twin Brother to work together on this, Frank! Family bonding is important
Hello, my name is Stefan. I come from Germany. I would like to say... "I look forward to every new video of Frank"!!!! Thank you very much 😃👍👍👍 I like the videos very much
I admire the amount of patience and time it must take you to make these videos. This was incredibly well done.
The woodwork is great and your video editing skills are as equally impressive
Frank Howarth is a national treasure.
12 numbers on a clock, the 12 days of Christmas, a dozen eggs, 12 donuts, or as you're approaching in this past video, 12 different Franks. You could do inlays of 12 silhouettes of yourself!

What an intro!
Frank, your just the best! Twelve months, twelve gods of the Pantheon, twelve hours, twelve signs of the zodiac....thanks for everything :)
I don't know what's better. The woodworking or the film making! I guess that's why I always watch!
I love the editing in this video. The attention to small details like at 8:25 where red shirt Frank is out of focus in the background is fantastic.
I still love that you shared about struggling w/ speech, and now enjoy all the more, hearing your smooth and eloquent narrations. That and the signature chuckle . Good work and thanks.
Twelve icons for each major holiday 🤷♂️
Make a simple round stand
Then turn it to the next one
Frank is getting the screen out, here we go!
Frank Howarth - Industrial Light & Magic of RUclips Woodworking. Editing, 3d animation, narrative flow and - the most important - craftsmanship is astonishing.
Thank you for INVESTING the time to do all the editing. Every second was worth it! !! !!!

This is a fun idea!
I like the screw types idea, simple graphics, out of the ordinary and on topic. I've been wondering how to use resin in this process.
Dang, Frank! Production values 👏 and project 🏆 & 12 Marvel superheroes 😮
This video made me just sit and smile for half an hour😊😊, thank you for that Frank, Frank and Frank
Frank, and his new onsite shop narrator, Frank
The in person narration while you are working was really cool.
Initials of the 12 best soccer players of all time, since it has the look of a soccer ball!
Love this project.
I’ve always asked myself, “what’s better than Frank Howarth?”….now I know, “having 2 Frank Howarth’s!” 😂 Brilliant editing Frank! 👏🏼
I am watching your videos since 5 years ago and I am always amazed by the work you do, the thought process behind the project and most of all the storyline of the videos, outstanding! Wow, thanks
The production quality on this video is amazing. I'm seriously in awe, and feel undeserving as a consumer of this masterfully produced free content.
YOURE MY FAVOURITE WOODWORKING CHANNEL BECOS U KEEP IT FUNKY
That shirt color change was seamless. Well done. On everything, that is.
You’ve always had really great “special effects” but this one was exceptional! Great work Frank!
This guy! Not just a wood worker but also a cad/cam and video editing extraordinaire. 😅
Awesome as usual Frank, thank you sir. As for 12.Months in a year was my thought, combined with seasons. Somehow making a "globe" for the seasons in transition over the course of a year. I also admire the editing and flow of this video.
OMG, THE EDITING ROCKS!
Out of focus talking Frank at the lathe was a nice touch ;)
Good one, this one!
Absolutely LOVE that you know where each piece came from.
Double spheres, double (even triple) Franks in one video. Amazing.
This would be an awesome soccer tournament MVP award!
What a masterpiece of video editing and storytelling. So entertaining
Amazing production :-)
Excellent editing. Especially you narrating yourself
12 blind mice. 12 wonders of the world. 12 stations of the cross. 12 Live Crew. I could go on. Haha. Love the video Frank!
I was waiting for an interaction between your two selves- of course I wasn’t disappointed! Another great video.
Dude, I wish I had clones of myself too.No, seriously, what the hell with this outstanding productions!?!? This video alone is worth and award for FX in education.
Very nice video and explanation on making the sphere
Geewhiz, all of that editing musta took 7.5 years. Well done, impressive work.
come for the woodworking, stay for the video editing tricks. awesome.
I love the Multi-Frankenverse 😂, wonderful editing!
Fantastic work, Frank. And it is nice to see you and your twins working together so nicely. 😂
Frank, I am incredibly impressed (as many others are) with your VFX, animation, and editing on this video!! You are even doing some roto for your "twins" to cross over each other! Incredible work, and I love how the "narrator" is starting to become more of a character. Great job

Fantastic editing in this one. Keep it up Frank, much love! Hope the kittens are doing well 😊
Red Frank, Black Frank! with a Blue Frank in as a helper! Love it! Your editing and filming always blows me away. Thank you for your hard work!
Best video ever, I love the narrating with you in the shot. Keep up the great work, Frank!
The continuing quest of the perfect dodecahedron sphere. I think this one comes pretty dang close. Really enjoyed the narration style here. Great project and great video. Thanks for sharing!
I'm equally amazed at the video editing. You're multi-talented.
This is one of the best produced vids I have ever seen on The Tube. Excellent work.
Excellent editing skills on display. You have a real knack for story telling. As well as wood working. Great combination. 👍
I think Frank is better at video making...! I mean, planning for the split screen work, the animation of the segmented spheres and just planning. Bravo. I watched this like 3x already! Now, if only the CNC had a sander....
WOW, I haven't watched one of your videos in about a year... your video production skill are through the ROOF!
Frank from the future narrator was a great touch! Your animations and stop motion always make me smile. How about 12 classic car silhouettes??
Your production values are so amazing that I had to go back and watch it again to see what you were making!
A Frank Howarth video and a Sampson Boat Co video on the same weekend. Happy Days. Thank you.
12 constellations - loved the work once again.
I appreciate the effort you put into your videos. Highly entertaining and I always learn something. 👏👏👏
I can tell that a ton of effort went into making those segmented spheres Frank! Good thing that there were three of you working on that project! Terrific videography as usual. 👍👍
19:45 classic. Perfect video Frank

The production value of your videos is really quite impressive
Just when I thought your videos couldn't get any more impressive and enjoyable!! and here we are!!! you've outdone yourself frank great video!
Fantastic editing! Really impressed how seamlessly you inserted a second you into the video. Crouching behind the air filter thingy made me laugh!
to have the skill to make those and then the skill to edit it the way you have is top drawer Sir
Frank... How is it possible that your filmmaking skills are AS GOOD AS your woodworking skills???
The video was fantastically edited Frank. I am happy to see you upping your production value with the 3D models. If you are looking for items to inlay maybe you can do 12 different tools you have around the shop?

We'll find out one day he actually does have an identical twin.
@@LostWhits or two, he's sometimes 3 times there together.
I like this version of a voice over. Very creative
Unreal video editing.. a joy to watch❤
Frank the reporter, describing what Frank the maker is doing. Fun!
