I think she only invites guests who she can relate to or has had a relationship with at some point, which is okay considering she's a first time talk show host - but she'll have to eventually branch out of her comfort zone so that she appeals to a wider audience and not just to her fans.
It's not that. She is actually upset at Ellen because she hasn't been booked big celebrities like she thought she would be. She gets a lot of Bravolebrities if you've noticed or celebrities who have been out of the lime light for a while.
sandcastlecollapsing I think its better she sticks with interviewing the reality show celebs for now because shes not on Ellen's level and shes lucky to have gotten this show in the first place SOOO many of these talk shows get cancelled especially in this economy. Ellen really helped her out she had her on the show loads to advertise Bethenny's show so for Bethenny to be mad at Ellen because Ellen (who earned her status over a span of 11 years) gets A list celebrities on her show is uncalled for. Its nice to see these reality stars on her show because 1. Bethenny has been a reality star for a while so she can relate to them and 2. It's nice to see these stars interviewed that wouldnt nessisarily get booked on Ellen or any other huge talk show. Given time and a bigger audience Bethenny will expand and be able to book more celebs.

I never saw _Bethenny_ while it was airing, but now watching all these (countless) clips on YT, Bethenny had EVERYONE on her show, so you can't say she's didn't give it her all. Apparently, it just wasn't in the cards.
I have never really liked The Countess, but what's the point of having a guest on the show if Bethenny just steam rolls and dominates the conversation?

It is so weird looking back at this interview now - when I watched this before I assumed Bethenny would nnever go back to RHONY, and her and Luann would be ok - but since she has gone back on SOOOOOO much has happened!! Luann and Bethenny in particular - their fued has got much worse than it was before she left!!
I hope the next season they bring Jill back, being that she made a guest appearance this season. 🤞🏼
