You know nothing about the ContessaClassic.. You simply said mostly all things wrong. It's the first indian luxury car to be introduced in 1985. Actually the Vauxhall Victor from England. Renamed by HM. Isuzu was introduced in 1986 with top speed of 140kmh. It was the fastest and most powerful cars in 80's especially. & this car is rudicolusly kept, all interior ruined,altered, exterior looking somehow satisfactory.

Even if one wanted to buy a contess and have it restored, we in delhi can't , considering that we can't drive a vehicle that is older than 15/10 years, which is such a shame.
@@rockyfernandes6526 according to new policy, vintage vehicles can be owned and used but cannot ply on roads like a normal vehicle, but only for rallies or display. I have looked into it as i wanted to buy one. I would be happy to be wrong, so kindly tell me the relevant part of the new policy or act which allows you to drive it regularly.
You aren't aware of the factual details of this car! The top speed of Contessa was limited to 160 KMPH & it came with a 87 BHP Isuzu...1.8GL. The Isuzu motor was simultaneously introduced in the CONTI & AMBY around 1996-97. For DIESEL fans, they had a 2 Litre motor. The CONTI was essentially a Vauxhall Victor manufactured in India by HM. The old Conti (Pre Isuzu) model had a BMC engine under its hood plonked to a 5 speed gearbox which somewhat emitted a mild Sonic boom kind of a noise at speeds of 60 + KMPH which was a delight to hear
