The song reflects X’s troubled upbringing, and how pain and sadness have plagued his brief time on this earth, as shown in the first half, X learns that if he remains true to his selfish/evil side, that he can obtain what he really craved: power and wealth. In retrospect this song shows where he WAS. In a dark place. Before he died he made a lot of music about dealing with these demons and brought awareness to others going through or dealing with shit and he made more positive music too. He escaped the darkness and was trying to spread light and love. I believe in Christ and I truly believe he got through to this young man in the end and I appreciate him sharing trials and tribulations with the world through music. You should grow up. My brother kept telling me how much he loves this song, and he listened to this all day. It was his way of getting away from depression. The next day he went to school and put his headphones on. When his school ended he didnt come back and then i had heard that he died of a heart attack while running in the woods during the PE class. This song was a secret message, let me fill you in. The title, "I spoke to the devil in Miami, and he said everything would be fine" is literal. Miami is where X sold his soul to Satan for fame and fortune, when he was 17 (hence his albums name). I will now go into my take on this songs lyrical breakdown. (one thing to note is that he is telling a chronological story of the "conversation" he has with Satan)
Intro - "It will all be over soon" ---- X was aware that his death was going to be very soon
Verse - "I'm always where the sun dont shine, the tears dont show, wont hurt me now 'cause hearts been broke, i hate myself, but it wont show, i constantly lose all my remorse"
---- he starts off by telling us that before he sold his soul, he was very depressed
Verse - "And its ten for the wolf, and three for the shepherd"
--- in this analogy Satan is the wolf while X is the shepherd. If you arent familiar with this story, a wolf once stayed by a flock of sheep led by a shepherd for a long time, but never did anything to the sheep. One day, the shepherd left his flock with the wolf, for he trusted the wolf. When the shepherd came back to his flock, they were all dead. Through the wolf's cunning, he deceived the shepherd. Satan deceived X into selling his soul for fame and fortune, but in the end, Satan won the trade.
Verse - "and it's one for the sheep who Led by your leopard, often gave his perception as a Handle of weapon, took a bite of your apple, give me All you can offer"

I feel like maybe X did make a deal with the devil. The devil probably loved when X was making violent agressive music and fighting with other guys constantly. I feel like a lot of these rappers who exclusively spread negative energy and messages in their songs made some sort of deal to rise to fame.
However, Jahseh's case was different. Over the past year he began to see more to life and started to care about others and how he could make the world a better place around him. He started to make positive music helping people with depression, love and just finding themselves. X was just supposed to be promoting violence, hate and abuse as a celebrity and musician, these are things the devil thrives off.
So when X switched up and became a positive person, the devil wasn't having it anymore and ended the same career he helped.
