Despite challenges navigating the music industry and grieving the loss of Dave “Trugoy the Dove” Jolicoeur a year ago, the group continues to move forward and celebrate the legacy of De La Soul.

Long Island is so proud of you. Everybody shouts the boroughs, but Long Island was the fuel that propelled the creativity.
True game changers. Top 3 album for me. Up there with Prince's "Purple Rain," Duke Ellington's "Masterpieces." 3 Feet High is my ultimate comfort, feel good album. You changed everything. Everything. No words can properly describe what 3 Feet High means to me. Just... Thank you, De La Soul. Thank you Dave.

This is easily Zane's best interview. Sometimes it can feel like he's kissing up to artists just to boost their egos but the admiration and references he dropped all through this shine through as genuine love for De La Soul. Respect!

Growing up in LA during the late 80's... De La Soul hands down changed my life, and created an outlet for a little black kid to escape to, and survive the gang warfare that was occurring.
Id like to say THIS GROUP WAS PERFECT for a inner city outcasted kid. AND POS IS GOD LEVEL MC-EEING at its best

De La Soul is one of a few groups who has a perfect discography. You can start with 3 ft to anonymous having a good time.
