I get the two Bibles thing. My SheReadsTruth is my “cute/no notes/writing Bible” but then I have a Study Bible that catches everything lol tears, stickies, writing, added pages 🤣 I personally like the worn look; shows that I actually use it. Also highly recommend the books Fervent by Priscilla Shirer & Crazy Life by Dr Tony L. Nelson (they are both Christian & opened my eyes a lot!) I also think sometimes routines cause us to get bored and dims our fire in spirit but anytime I have felt like that I either change locations where I do my Bible Study, try new methods, or try attending a conference or some type of worship event. The good thing about God is his grace will meet us where we’re at. We are daughters of the King, no matter how long it takes, He still loves you and He sees you! 💗
I love your transparency about where you’re at but also your determination to move forward. Prayer, reading and fasting all help but also staying connected to those who are passionate about supporting your relationship with God will help to lift you when your motivation is lacking ❤

The only social I have is RUclips so I can watch and support the ones like you 😃 but I have been off socials for a good 6 years! You realize a lot that comparing your life to others is a lot of how we operate. It took a mental toll on me. But I feel amazing most days to say that any choices I make and things I do are based solely on me. 😂 I agree having your mind mellow out. So I def read the Bible of course. Journaling I gained as another thing I do everyday.

Thanks for sharing this! I felt this same way a couple weeks ago and I honestly felt bad and felt disconnected from Him. I watched a video by Deborah B, she's a (faith based content creator), and it just reminded me that sometimes we may not feel God, but He is definitely there. Personally what helped was taking time of social media to spend time with Him and being honest with what's going. I truly admire your transparency Shun. I think it maybe helpful to fast from certain things but also writing down how you feel (like doing a brain dump ) in your journal and maybe even writing out your prayers. Some days may look different when you're spending time with God. Praying that God will continue to lead you and praying this encourages you as well :)
You made me have a reflection moment. For me I look at it as our relationship is transforming into something different. I’m not the same person I was at the beginning of the year. Now we just locked in differently and I’m trusting him to guide this new chapter. Keeping that faith
You have to find interesting ways to interact with God, it's okay to just talk to God sometimes. A relationship with God is forever which is a long time, so the same way you would spice up your relationship with your husband, find new ways to experience God. You can go to Christian conferences or get togethers to have more family in Christ. Faith-based movies can re-spark your enthusiasm for God. Hiking while listening to worship music and gospel is a great way to experience God's amazing creation and hear his voice. Sometimes laying in silence and just letting is perfect peace wash over you is enough. I recommend "when GOD winks" series by Squire Rushnell , that is another great read.
I would recommend you read a book called “The Invisible War” by Chip Ingram, it definitely speaks on the topic of the operations of the spiritual realm through the lens of Christ.
I understand exactly how you’re feeling because I have been feeling the exact same. But there’s a sermon that my pastor shared with us about the season of quietness. In the season of quietness, it’s vey hard to stay faithful and to keep seeking God or praying every day because it becomes boring when God isn’t talking to us. But it’s the season that matters the most because even when God is not speaking he is always present. There’s a time when God speak directly to us and we feel his presence, but there’s also times where he stops and observes but speaks to us in different ways. Why does God stay quiet sometimes, because he is observing us to see how much we have grown. He wants to see if we will still stay faithful and persistent in prayer even if he is quiet. Don’t let laziness in. You got this and remember God is with you always here a few Bible verse to help Ephesians 6:11-18 Isaiah 41:10

For wanting a deeper understanding would pray for an impartation of wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 says for the Lord gives wisdom, from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He has the answer to your questions sometimes we have to ask for guidance and insight to be directed to those answers.

So i remember when i was feeling like i couldn’t here God .. i remember i was told that maybe because i was praying from a place i had grown from like it was time for me to pivot like he answered those prayers and i was still stuck somewhere from those answers and my next move idk . Like he’s still there with me but some where i got lost in it . Like a lost sheep …

I understand exactly how you’re feeling because I have been feeling the exact same. But there’s a sermon that my pastor shared with us about the season of quietness. In the season of quietness, it’s vey hard to stay faithful and to keep seeking God or praying every day because it becomes boring when God isn’t talking to us. But it’s the season that matters the most because even when God is not speaking he is always present.
