+Colin Zapalac I was able to make a few usb drives using grc and Ubuntu. I installed OP25 on one by cloning from github and the other I used pybombs. I am amazed how good the audio is compared to DSD+, even after I fine tuned it. Now I need to write a few trunking files.
I'm working on trying to get gnu radio to build on my Mac...and then build OP25 from there. My little netbook doesn't have the wheaties (though one of my mini-ATX desktops may).
Arnold Podolsky I do not believe the pi will have enough juice to run op25 effectively. If you aren't doing trunking and narrow your bandwidth on to a single frequency you might get audio, but I just don't think is has the horsepower.
Hi I am in the desktop/pybombs/ directory and when i go ./pybomds install gnuradio i get a bash: ./pybombs : Is a directory . when i go back to the root directory ans do ls i notice that pybombs is not there. What went wrong
I was having the same issue. This is what shows when I type "ls" AUTHORS COPYING READ ME.md setup.cfg tests convert_1to2.py pybombs run-test.sh setup.py
Nice, but the OP25 install procedure varies and is scattered all over the net.
Preferred method for Ubuntu is now using the repo to install gnuradio.

Why use a VM? What's wrong with using the actual loaded program?
