I always rush maw vs magic damage champs in mid especially burst champs. That paired with exhaust always wins me trades. Then I build armor boots if enemy jg is constantly trying to gank me or magic def boots if they are AP jg. If it’s AP jg I can usually 1v2 them at this point. It’s hilarious everytime they try to just both die.
I can solo kill at lvl 1 if enemy does not respect my early game damage. But typically I poke them into kill range at lvl 1 quickly get lvl 2 and position myself to go for the kill if the enemy is trying to get last hit they get punished. So skill 1 first then I level 2nd ability for the extra Q dmg for that lvl 2 cheese. You can kill them by just using basic attack x3 when they go for last hit. At this point they have 2 options. Either fight or flash. If they choose to flash that’s still a win and you still can kill them with W,Q. If they choose to sit there and try to trade after 3x basic exhaust. I usually hold my Q a bit longer to bait out a flash. It all depends on their health but I want them to burn their flash while exhaust is still up so I can kill them but either way they are dead at this point. I do this bc now they don’t have flash available once I hit lvl 5 that’s another easy kill. To further snow ball the lane.
Varus mid isnt always good tho. Good thing u were vs fizz who has no poke ability. Or ton of dashes.
Varus has not many bad matchups, worse I can think of is Yasuo for obvious reasons.
But maybe that was sarcasm since fizz has some nice poke with its 2 dash abilities
I play Varus mid a lot. Got to rank 6 last season. This statement is false. Varus is one of the most versatile marskman in game. As long as you know what runes to build and items to choose in game you can counter any draft. He is literally the safest first pick for me. He literally can do anything based on how you build him from early to late game monster. You can be a poke champ or a 1v1 god. You can play safe in lane or you can roam easily for ganks. He is literally the jack of all trades.

@@Thomas-lu6tc i’m NA player. All though I did play in EU server 2 years ago when I was there for 3 months got to GM in less than a month on brand new acc with limited characters.
my friend u are completely wrong, assassins in general are always a good pick vs adcs on solo lanes and especially fizz - like wym not a lot dashes? he literally has 2 abilites where he can dash and one of them even maked him untargetable in which case u would be able to outplay varus ult because varus is one of the better adcs into assassins because of his ult but champs like zed or fizz can bait his ult and outplay him with zed ult or fizz e
also the purpose of fizz laning phase is not to bully, especially vs a ranges champion, he is a scaling champion and doesn‘t need to win lane, he just needs to survive it
witz fizz u dont try to poke, u let the enemy push to ur side od the turret and take short trades if possible to get the enemy to a certain amount of hp where u can try to bait the enemies abilities and then go all in and oneshot him
Varus first kill depends on the enemy overstepping, usually within first minute. If they play defensive, the earliest guarntee kill is the ult flash at lvl 5.

Just cheese them lvl 1 while making sure you'll end up lvl 2 first any sec. If they fight you will kill them. Lvl 2 varus can kill anyone especially if enemy health under equal or under 50%
Is it me or you don't often use your 3rd ability to proc Varus 2nd ability passive?
I OTP varus but I try to focus on CD, mr boots, reaver, trinity, frozen H, Rift and crown. I solo kill when I get my ulti after boots purchase

What other champs can build defendesly (like varus) and their kit still allows to have damage (or damage scaling)?
Any champ, even in PC but mostly Wild rift
@@deadspace4755 there arent any other chanp in wr that can do that other than varus and maybe vayne but varus is just better in pc katarina can build anything and is not locked behind ap cuz she has access to on hit in wr she doesn’t have that so thats pretty much it
What do you think about arcane comet on varus ? i really like the poke dmg on lane ! My build is mostly Manamune ,Terminus , Youmus , Hurricane and last item is situational but in most cases Edge of night (for the spellshield)
That used to be op a while ago but now it's too long to scale and Varus high damage doesn't get its full benefit.. you're better of skipping Manaume and Edge, and adding Riftmaker and Amaranth Twinguard instead
Bro was ARAMing against a Sendra as a full tank Swain and was getting 1 shot from 5k health from her Ult....1st time I felt like I was playing a cheater. Her Ult was on like a 20 sec cool down

I usually play with ghost, so popping ghost lvl 2-3 and going for the kill. Depends how passive the other player is ofc.
@@Guzzmabrain ghost against fizz is very risky, the exhaust + phase rush would give you similar mobility while being both defensive and offensive

you are using it wrong!!!, at lv2 you need to upgrade second ability then all in, you should have just try to poke at level 1. at lv2 you can get full stack and one shot fizz at half hp
