I stumbled on your videos when I started to question my desire to run on the treadmill at 5am and living off almonds and prunes to get to an “ideal” weight. My body refuses to budge below 160 lb at 5 ft 8. I’ve learned so much from you on how to try to accept my body. Thank you.
When you explained the picking at the cookie dough but never eating one scenario I had one of those moments like : ‘damn, I really did have disordered eating’ and that to me is recovery😊
@@santjevana8279 it sounds to me that deep down, you already know that its mental hunger (you described it as having a 'big appetite') Honestly, I would say to just eat and even if you were somehow wrong and it's not actually mental hunger, that's ok, it won't hurt you, if anything, you'll just learn a bit about your hunger cues
It is probably an eating disorder too Everyone is different so it can be that you don't have any problems with your body there are multiple reasons why you're stuck in your ed for example like that feeling of control you get in your ed Anyway the way out is that what tabitha always says: eat, be lazy and rewire! Much love for you!❤
Sometimes, I do not link a certain behaviour or fear to fear of weight gain (e.g. "it's not because I'm afraid to gain weight that I'm not eating XXX, it's because that's not healthy or just because I'm not allowed to..."). But then, when I really think hard and try to 'disect' every thought, it very often does turn out to be fear of weight gain. And, as Indi says, in the end it doesn't really matter WHY you are having certain ED-behaviours: you have to fight back and try and get rid of them as soon as possible.

Bless you lol x
I pick at my good and.restrict and it's f...... hard and I feel guilty sitting.
I still have a very big appetite, usually in the evenings. When I'm not physically hungry, do I have to give in or not?
Tabitha always says that "mental hunger", or thinking about food means just eat.
@@ripps999p but how am I sure that this is mental hunger?
