In my honest opinion... we absolutely need more speed and energy in the middle of the pitch... it would be fantastic to be able to close down for 1/2 all-rounders in midfield and a right back who has strength, speed and motor skills and who knows how to defend... we absolutely need it!
Joe is totally right about Luiz too. People forget Salah and KDB were shite at Chelsea. Good thing our fans weren't in there saying "NOOOO!! HE WAS SHIT AT CHELSEA!!" when we signed Kev isn't it? Conversely, nobody on earth thought Palmer would flourish the way he has at Chelsea. Players only play as well as they adapt to the league or the team around them. We very obviously needed a midfielder even before Rodri went down. Rodri himself was begging for help last season! It is fucking RIDICULOUS that the club hasn't put any effort into identifying targets and getting them ready to go before the transfer window.
