Yes it is beautiful Frank. The banks weren't actually too bad, it was my difficulty getting down to unhook the fish, and back up again . But hopefully that will ease with time.
Congrats on getting that 10 lb carp in with all that weed .Caught a similar one myself yesterday on our local lake .The carp didn’t show up much before midday as it’s been so cold .Happy fishing 👍
Thank you for the comment. I think the cold weather has made the carp a bit lethargic, which probably worked in my favour. Once the water warms up a bit more I'm sure they will battle even harder. The weed was certainly a problem but fortunately it seemed to be quite soft.
