This is the Christmas song that instills the most nostalgia for me. Every year we’d watch the special on ABC and now PBS. It never gets old and this song and the version of Hark The Herald Angels Song they sing at the end are both iconic

As you get older this song gets better and better. Christmas time will always be in my heart, yet I long to be a child on Christmas morning once more. That powerful melancholic nostalgia is captured so well in this song.

Merry Christmas. I needed this encouragement during this time. I’m keeping my faith, but I’m Feeling so hopeless. I’m so alone I have no one that cares about me. So I’m crying out to my brothers and sisters in Christ for prayers. Me and my children are struggling because I lost my job over declining the vaccine I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. We are now facing homelessness. I’m a single mother I have nowhere to turn. I pray that God will hear my prayers and bless me. I must be patient. With it being the holidays my situation has really been bringing me down. I will continue to keep Faith in God he will provide.

Funny enough just scrolling along finding things to watch I came across this. It's Thanksgiving evening 2023 and THIS is the first Christmas song I have heard this year. I'm glad it was. 😊
Masterful job. Vince would be proud. Interestingly enough, I’ve been practicing Guaraldi’s note for note version for the last couple months. I’m very much a beginner but I’ve got the first 38 measures memorized. My rhythm isn’t that great even playing with the original track in my headphones but it’s been fun trying to recreate his sound. I’m not worthy, Charles. Like Linus’ blanket, your cover shall keep me warm during these cold winter days.

Beautiful playing on a wonderful instrument, recorded perfectly to capture the acoustic depth and tonal sophistication of these instruments and Christmas classic. I feel like I’m back in the 60s, relaxing in a warm San Francisco night club, rain dropping softly in the city and light shimmering across the bay, While enjoying a smooth drink among close holiday companions. Merry Christmas.

Such a classic Christmas tune! Brings me back to my childhood where we would watch "A Charlie Brown Christmas" before opening presents. I recently did an A Cappella version of this and "Skating" since these songs bring such joy to the holiday season. Great job with this Charles! Loving these performances!
