  • It was the day after my birthday, May the 15th, when there was supposed to be a Full Lunar Eclipse. Of course, a giant rain cloud covered nearly half my state. What was I to do?
    Drive for four and half hours until we could see it, of course! And so we did just that! Coulee City was a blast.

    Since May we have been performing live outreach regularly so unfortunately this is our last live stream to share for a bit. I still plan to make more videos and hopefully release them soon!

    Hi Robert. I have a question. How hard is it to make planetary and DSO observations with your 10 inch dob? How hard is it to track celestial objects? After how many x zooms sky objects become untraceable?
