Here just some examples: In 1984 Los Angeles summer Olympic Games, 67 out of 597 American Olympic Athletes suffered from EIA or asthma. These 67 asthmatic athletes won 41(!) medals during the Olympic Games... Among asthmatics we can find such big names like Mark Spitz and Jackie Joyner-Kersee or Florence Griffith Joyner... Really very very strange...
Juice cocktail! (testosterone, HGH, steroids) all ped's in its earliest stages! Some people do not want to admitted it but Olympic Games are joke!
@@Hever73 its the Same with cycling. The ones with the best peds wins
@Hever Morales 63% of Liverpool FC soccer/football is prescribed albuterol inhalers for "athsma". It opens your lungs for more air. This practice is done across all sports
Where is the evidence for that?
Any reports or information
East Germany had a systemic regime which was well organised, planned and funded. Athletes from a young age would be singled out if they showed talent, and PID were started from a young age. By the time these athletes were to perform at a senior age at world class, the earlier PID with hard training was already in effect and doping regimes were easier to control for testing........
The narrator is as thrilling as a funeral entertainer.
I dated a East German Girl athlete once! I was happy after a couple of minutes ! She wanted to go all night ! I always thought she was on something 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They should test all the frozen samples from the past! Testing is way more advanced now! There be a hell of a lot of gold medals handed back!
You must hold the world record for the most duplicates of a comment posted on YT!
This would turn the sports world on its head. I'd say more athletes were using than not. When Lance Armstrong got busted in the Tour de France, the first clean cyclist was 18th place. They're more guilty than not.

Let it go...You drug conspiracists are just depressing...Get help
@1710 Aju there's nothing anyone can do it about it now .
@@imanjordan3050 yeah esp.if their health is failing from all the drugs they were administered from their coaches.Sad chapter.
@one one I'm agreed with you.
Every record that still stands from the 80s should have an asterisk
By the way if we are talking about government supported program its very useful to take notice of a program which was applied by USA and some other Western countries in 70‘s and 80‘s.. I mean the massive integration to sport system of asthmatic! (Asthmatic have a big ADVANTAGE against other athletes because they can use anabolic steroids allowedly)
those steroids used for inflammation of the lungs are not the same you inject into your body
@@metsdudenj they get prescribed albuterol inhalers, which opens the lungs for more oxygen. 63% of Liverpool FC football/soccer is prescribed. It's done across all sports.
Marlies Olsner failed a drug test in 1975 as a junior ! The Olympic drug testing lab was in East Germany for years, which gave the GDR quite the advantage over the rest of the world. They also testing their athletes before they were allowed to leave the country. Just because an athlete was never caught... doesn't mean they weren't dirty !!
They did have a major failure in 1977 - Ilona Schoknecht (( now Longo) - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilona_Slupianek ) - who came up positive at the European Cup.
The biggest drug chests now are the Jamaicans. USA always cheated too like Flo Jo
No matter what the comments say. East Germany forever. Love my country. Eternal glory in sports.
Honey, maybe nobody told You, but Your country doesn't even exist anymore. ❎ 😭 Try to get over it and to move on with life ...
@@joshlevicq6823 Ok you moron thanks for this groundbreaking realisation. The GDR is still the country i was born in and therefore forever in my heart.

I'm sick of theme "East Germans and Doping"! Western world desperately blame East Germans for using steroids in order to mask the much more bigger problems they had (and still have until now) in their own regular doping use system! It is so naive to think that all great East German sport achievements are based only on doping! You can use unlimited amount of drugs but you‘ ll never run as fast as Marita Koch did for example!
I guess Germany Can finish a Race.
WHOOOOOAAAAHH!
Wow! so juice does make a big difference in performance like 2 m!
Some theme... Like it didn't occur... I have saw what you have written on other posting about athletes like Jenner and Babishoff who never took drugs of any kind. Sorry but the GDR doping program was not only systematic and controlled. It was a great slap against humanity once again. This time their own.
If you think Jenner didn't use, then you're lying to yourself. Just read his own words in his 2nd book. He was taking 57 "pills" a day during his lead-up to the '76 Games. He was a guilty as all the other top players of the day. While a tremendous talent and competitor, he was also on the stuff.
Everybody talks about doping but nobody speaks about hard training, enormous strains, which heaviness spoon-fed Western teens and americans can‘t even imagine!
So that‘s why the career and the first major successess of all best East German sprinters like Bärbel Wöckel-Eckert, Renate Stecher or Marlies Göhr starts so early, when beeing only 18 or 19 years old they achieved their first big titles.
Not to mention that they were full-time athletes..professional if you will.. and dope to the hilt !
Just like modern athletes, but without the modern drugs that modern athletes take!
They are hot!
If you like 'handsome' women lol
how many are still alive today?
Flo jo is dead long ago. Göehr, koch etc are still alive
Looking for biceps on the Hermans.

this what steroids look like in the 70's
Doped up
But best looking is west german girl.
they do not look as lean and cut as athletes from today. they look sturdy but not as musclely.
Barbel Eckert looks pretty here, by the time she get to moscow she looks just like a man.
It is truly gobsmacking that there are still people out there who defend East German athletic performances. Their cheating was thoroughly documented in minute detail at the highest levels of their government. It was unprecedented athletic chicanery. And, judging by this comment section, the "defense" proffered seems to be heavy doses of whataboutery, a highly appropriate logical fallacy due to the fact that it was heavily employed in Eastern Bloc propaganda during the Cold War.
Saying, "they weren't the only ones who cheated" absolves them of wrongdoing in no way whatsoever. If you, who are proponents of such a line of thought, were on a jury for a murder case, would you vote to acquit based upon the same principle? "Well, it's not like he's the first person to murder someone. And he won't be the last. It's really no big deal. I say 'set him free'."
Al Oerter never took steroids... ever. Your attempt to include certain individuals is nothing sort of immature defamation for no good reason other to prove that other us athletes took drugs ... we all know they did. They just weren't sponsor by their country !
Al Oerter, who I had the great chance to meet in 1997, admitted to trying steroids at the beginning of his comeback in 1977. He said he went off of them as soon as he found out they were causing him heart problems. He had hypertension for most of his life, and did die from complications of heart problems at the relatively young age of 71.
ladies and gentlemen you are on a flight called west germany and we are reaching jpan in two , one !! hello we are in tokyo !! pathetic !!

Haaa, not a single african on the team.
Euro championship. Ghana Nigeria and Egypt are in world cups
Back when blacks could not afford to compete ... or were blocked out.
These are the European Championships. Very few black people lived in Europe in those days outside of France and the United Kingdom.
There were no "blacks" in Europe. But there were Ghanaians, Angolans or Nigerians. Mostly students in Germany or Poland. In African track and fields games there also were no Europeans.

Just call it 'tbol." Saying "oral" is redundant, because it can't be taken any other way.
